I wonder if supsalemgr and nascarfan88 are still lurking. It would be nice to see them admit that Greenpeace was correct to protest the power plant at Lake Julian in Arden and offer to contribute extra for their defense of inaction that led to the massive spill on the Dan River and the costs of cleaning up King Coal's filthy activities. Nah, they don't have that kind of personal responsibility when it comes to public health and the corporate welfare queens they adore.

You mean admit they were wrong? That's crazy talk, they were never wrong, not even once. They'll probably just continue paying their power bill, complaining about how the cost is going up again and be oblivious.

Such an amazing coincidence that Gov. Pat McCrory is in office while this is going on.

No question at all. Of course cleaning up the mess the company made shouldn't come out of their profits, that's just crazy. Privatize the profits, socialize the losses, the `merican way. The CEO will probably get a raise for this.
