Ebay hacked
You should probably change your password on ebay and any site that uses that same password. The company isn't exactly being forth coming about how the passwords were stored other than "encrypted".

I've noticed it in many fields - business, activism, NGOs, etc. - websites often lag other public representations. You know how those IT management guys are.
