And Jesus said unto them, "And whom do you say that I am?"
They replied, "You are the eschatological manifestation of the ground of our being, the ontological foundation of the context of our very selfhood revealed."
The Affiant is GAY. Her family disapproves of her lesbianism. She is suing to, among other things, obtain enough money to move to a more accepting environment for her and her daughter. There is no amount of babblonious blustering on your part that will change these facts. In other words: You are pissing into the wind.
We are asking they change policy so it never happens again," Misny said. The lawsuit also seeks "compensation to receive the kind of counseling they will need going forward, and also to relocate to an area that is more demographically in tune with their family," he said. "At times she (Cramblett) feels that she is underwater. She loves her child to death. But what she needs is assistance in handling it properly," Misny said.
She's certainly not going to let her daughter go without her being there as they work together to face life's difficulties. Of course she's going with her daughter.
I'm sorry - I missed the part in any of the original articles or court documents that said "her family disapproves of her lesbianism." Little help, please?

Complaint:
Jennifer lives each day with fears, anxieties and uncertainty about her future and Payton's future. Jennifer admits that she was raised around stereotypical attitudes about people other than those in her all-white environment. Family members, one uncle in particular, speaks openly and derisively about persons of color. ...Despite her family's attempts to accept her homosexuality, they have not been capable of truly embracing Jennifer for who she is. They do not converse with her about her gender preference, and encourage her not to "look different," signaling their disapproval of her lesbianism.

I guess that's as good a place as any to bound off on a red herring tangent. But even with the most creative interpretation, a reasonable person wouldn't find that to be a significant part of the complaint.

What does that mean?
Do you ask that same question when you come upon traffic lights that are red or green? Just wondering. Is someone in your family going by the name of Tertius?
What does what mean? A "red herring" is the term used to describe a topic intended to distract from the main issue. A tangent, is a term meaning to depart from the current direction, usually implying off-topic. It means that while the family may have not been totally accepting of the woman's lesbianism, that was not a significant reason or cause of her lawsuit, nor a significant problem in her life. Some seem to think that your previous posts indicate that you think that her being a lesbian was an important part of the issue or suit. It was not. It was, however, likely an important part in getting the story covered. Hetero couples do something, everybody goes "ho hum." Lesbian couples do something, and the news goes "lesbians! we've got lesbians!" Nevermind what the complaint actually says.

Also, in a posting:
They similarly already disapprove of her lesbianism, and she worries that, even though she can hide her lesbian identity around her family to get along, Payton cannot hide her race, and may be more vulnerable to their disapproval.
I am a poor widdle child that can't handle the truth of my screw ups. I am so, so gay-obsessed and so ashamed of it that I can't face it when the supposed gayness of articles I link turn out to be almost entirely in my own repressed fantasies.
I am so illiterate that I missed the fact that Vrede apologized for a minor and largely irrelevant flub and that it was entirely new. I was too wussy to admit it. I lied, again. Vrede's point is proven.
