The snow hath begun

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Let it snow...that's what winter's for. It'll be gone in a couple of days if the temps get up to what the weather-guessers say it will.

Stocked up on baked beans and ammo. I'm ready to ride this one out.

You could have probably stopped at the baked beans. The smell will keep any trespassers away. :D

I went to Ingle's earlier today; everybody was there. I got pork chops, fish, steak, beer, lettuce, lemon, onion, bread, rice, soup, and some kind of little cupcakes with that swirly white icing on top. Snow on, baby. I got gas heat and gas water heater so if the power is out, I still have heat and hot water.

Today was 78, but we do have a patchy fog tonight. Chilly tomorrow, high only around 70.
I'll be back when Spring comes to the mountains.

I used to like Al Hope's (WHKP morning announcer, retired) take on impending snow...
"The 's' word is in the forecast tonight, so y'all best run on out and stock up on your milk, bread, cigarettes, beer, and toilet paper....
and DON'T START calling me and asking if there's school tomorrow!"

If that all electric turns into no electric, you know you can trudge over here, but if you walk, beware....snow plows are going by about every fifteen minutes or so. I wouldn't want to be on the sidewalk when it does. They've already skewed my mailbox about 15 degrees off facing the street.

Please Jesus let the power go out at work. I beg you and will say 20 hail Marys and eat a box of saltine crackers and pretend its you.

I know Waters. Good trailhead access to the Upper Tampa Bay trail there. Good biking. No hills, unless you count the one bridge overpass.

That reminds me, I had my own, "Virgin Mary on toast" moment the other day with FSM. See if you can spot him: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... 78308.aspx

(At the bottom, and very obvious.)
