Ode to Vrede and Too

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Good one, Doc! - but you may have to explain it to the Colonel.

Depends on the specifics, but I think consumption tax would unfairly target the poor. -- Like I said though, depends on the specifics.

The poor might have a higher percentage burden, but whether that would be "unfairly target" or not might be debatable. In my version, it would just be a national sales tax, sufficiently high to fund the government. Those who spend more would pay more, sure. But nobody says current state and local sales taxes "unfairly target" the poor. Particularly if you excluded food.

Homofool spends most of his time searching for gay-related literature and pictures, cause he's a latent gay in deep denial.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

You're the one doing the following, here. And I'll bet you're doing more to butts than sniffing them.

In a reply to Sometime Lefty and Homerfobe in "The Redneckiness Thread", I wrote:

What's funny about this is that when I discovered a certain identity, I said nothing to no one except in a PM to the one who I discovered. I made no mention of any sort of retaliation; either in this forum or to the person's employers. In fact, the PM I sent was complimentary comments about that person's past. That person was the one who went all ballistic and paranoid screaming to the Administrator to remove all his posts and membership because of the likelihood of my contacting his employer and the possibility of his losing his job, credibility, right to speak freely, etc.

I said this before....his mouth overloaded his ass, and he reaped what he sowed. 'nuff said on the subject.

Storms soon blow over.

I watched this last night.

Hackerman's Nintendo Power Glove man...

10/10.

If they made something like this into a TV series I'd watch it.

I despise TV series. I prefer to watch a different episode of a program each week rather than to be left hanging until the next week to see what's gonna happen.

Why don't you watch them from the opposite direction. Start with the very last, and work your way back to the beginning.
