Something in this county has to give, the DA's office and the courts seem to accept these things as just a bother.
They continue lets sex cases linger for years and years hoping they will go away. What is the deal with these clowns?

Heard a story today from one of my favorite Secret Sources.
A few years ago, a guy messed with a teenage girl. The girl's family grabbed him and took him to a not so remote spot, where they laid him out on a big rock. Using a filet knife, they split open his ...um... appendage like a banana or a butterflied shrimp.

The butterflied guy wouldn't reveal the names of the vigilantes. No one was ever charged with assault or a sex crime.

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office is on the scene investigating a self‐inflicted gunshot
wound at 3567 Evans Rd. in Hendersonville. Richard David Serena, 50 yoa has been identified
as the victim and is deceased. Mr. Serena had been charged recently by the Henderson
County Sheriff's Office with two counts of indecent liberties with a minor, one count of crime
against nature, and one count of second degree sex offense. Mr. Serena was out on bond
pending trial.

You obviously do not read other news sources in order for you to make that kind of statement. Most top stories around our country are related to sex crimes against children. No one area is prone to more attacks than others. And for you to assert that sex crimes against children is a "liberal" issue", you also must have forgotten about the Catholic Church and the protestant church cases etc...

The fact that the bond in this case was so low tells us how seriously the court views these type cases. Logically this guy can be viewed as a threat to society, thus denying bond. Years ago pedophiles were more afraid of fathers than the police, but it seems that in today's society, fathers and family members have been neutered along with the police and the courts. Nobody will protect the children anymore, thus, we will continue to read more of these stories.

Ironically, the only people these perverts fear are who their cellmate may be in prison.

Looks like everybody gets what they want here.....the Colonel won't have to worry about the case being dragged out, the fact of the self inflicted execution seems to indicate guilt, and the victims also won't have to worry about further abuse; at least from this guy. I guess you can peruse the voter registration records and maybe determine the guy's politics, but you may not want to know.

I do not live in other parts of the country I live here. I don't recall saying it was a Liberal problem. I have been involved with cases here in this county and they are lax on sex crimes, if you believe my opinion or not it's mine. I have followed a few cases and they roll over for these folks and hope for pleas to make their numbers look better even with a ton of evidence. Look how low the bails are for sex crimes in this county, it's sickening. Did you look at the link of the other one I posted. When I was on the other forum I showed pictures, bails and some of the pleas that were allowed to be entered.

I know a family member of a victim who was treated worse then the person who committed the crime, until this day HE is HARASSED. Naked man near child’s party pleads guilty to exposure

Jason Dorato, 34, of Asheville pleaded guilty Friday to misdemeanor indecent exposure, less than a month after being spotted naked in a creek not far from a child’s birthday party at Patton Park in Hendersonville.

Parents at the party told police they saw a man bathing in a creek near the park completely nude around 1:30 p.m. Police said they found Dorato standing naked next to his black Nissan 240SX in the parking lot across from a picnic pavilion where the party was dispersing, drying his hair with a T-shirt.

Dorato appeared before Judge David Fox in Henderson County District Court and was given a 45-day suspended sentence and six months of supervised probation.

I have an appointment the week of the election with an attorney to see how far I can go to expose the lack luster sentences here in Henderson County. Releasing names of Attorneys, Prosecutors and Judges who accept these Pleas.
You folk have no idea how many sex offenders are out there because this county is now pleaing sex offenses to non sex offense crimes.

This case now going on three years, yet the judge continually allows for delays.
They are doing nothing more then WAITING for the POOR VICTIMS to get on with their lives.
