Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Pat Robertson: ‘I’m Not Sure Who or What to Blame Texas Flooding On’
Robertson said. “But that’s all besides the point. The point is that the gays are ruining everything, always bring about natural disasters, and the flooding in Texas is no exception. I just have to figure out exactly how to blame the gays in this case, and I will not be stopped in my quest!”

Hrafnkell Haraldsson, a social liberal with leanings toward centrist politics has degrees in history and philosophy. His interests include, besides history and philosophy, human rights issues, freedom of choice, religion, and the precarious dichotomy of freedom of speech and intolerance. He brings a slightly different perspective to his writing, being that he is neither a follower of an Abrahamic faith nor an atheist but a polytheist, a modern-day Heathen who follows the customs and traditions of his Norse ancestors. He maintains his own blog, A Heathen's Day, which deals with Heathen and Pagan matters, and Mos Maiorum Foundation www.mosmaiorum.org, dedicated to ethnic religion. He has also contributed to NewsJunkiePost, GodsOwnParty and Pagan+Politics.

This refers to modern-day followers of the old traditional Germanic deities, Odin, etc.

Christmas trees, Santa Claus, reindeer-drawn sleds, stockings hung over the fireplace, and mistletoe come from this mythology. (Santa is the white-bearded Giftbringer of the north Odin, or Woden to the Germanic tribes and others.) Easter bunnies and Easter eggs come from heathen spring fertility rights. "Wednesday" comes from "Woden's Day" in Germanic languages. But then whether your deities comes from north-eastern Europe or from the middle-east, what's the difference?

Well sure. For many Christians it simply means anyone outside (what WE consider) the One True Religion."

Poll: One-Third Of Republicans Think Obama Wants To Invade Texas

A new survey from Public Policy Polling finds [PDF] that one-third of Republicans believe the Jade Helm 15 conspiracy theory that “the government is trying to take over Texas,” and another 28 percent of GOP voters haven’t made up their minds yet about the matter.

The right-wing frenzy over an upcoming military exercise called Jade Helm 15 has swept up the Republican governor of Texas and several other GOP leaders who wonder if the drill is part of a plan by President Obama to seize Texas, impose martial law, confiscate firearms and throw conservatives into closed Walmart stores that have been converted into FEMA camps.

Among Republicans, PPP found that supporters of former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz were most likely to believe the conspiracy theory.

PPP also found that half of all Tea Party supporters fear an imminent Texas invasion.

According to news reports, Texas has had enough rain to cover the entire state in 8" of water.....somewhere in the billions of gallons. Y'all take it from there.

If we apply wing nut "logic," as it was applied to NOLA in 2005, then we can only assume that God hates Texass.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

I just viewed an obituary in the Sptbg.. Herald newspaper in Sptbg. S.C. of Randy Strange who we know as RaginRebel here on our forum. I know that he didn't post alot on this forum but he was the main agitator of the liberals on the Sptbg. forum. Many happy exchanges with him on that forum. He was in declining health most recently in the past decade. He was an auto mechanic for area racing crews most notably the ARCA racing circuit. He was married to an acquaintance of mine. Really a nice guy. Anyone wishing to read his obit can do so at http://www.seawrightfuneralhome.com. Just type in his name under the obits column and view his obit.
He was who I thought he would be.

Strange? :D

They messed up the link on CPF, no surprise there. Here's the correct funeral home link:
http://www.seawright-funeralhome.com/obituaries
And here's the direct link to his obit:
http://hosting-23471.tributes.com/obitu ... -102588681

His signature remained a complete fabrication until the end and he was too wussy to ever admit it was a lie:
" I will stand with the Muslim's should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." ------Barack Hussein Obama
Inhaled too much auto exhaust?

This was a funny thread he started a few days before the election that everyone else knew was already decided:
GALLUP: ROMNEY UP 52-45% AMONG EARLY VOTERS
Here's another post from just 3 days before that:

On the GoUpstate forums he and another poster used to argue back and forth and call each other names. It was hilarious.

Can't believe they only have 18 votes on the most popular conservative forum on the internet.

I guess that says something about wing-nut conservatism.

Solar:
Is there a reason no one is voting?
I only had 5 spaces to work with, and to be quite honest, these are the only real viable candidates out of a total of ten.

This my favorite recent quote from solar the asshole,
"Here's a thought. Lets go to all the psychics possible, get their take on the issue, this could prove interesting to say the least, considering we're probably the only site willing to do it.

It shouldn't cost you anything, especially considering if any of them get it Right, they get the notoriety and exposure from being on a global site read by millions. That should get them some business."
Maybe if he said read by hundreds!

From the ten declared, I narrowed down 5 that stand a chance, pick your candidate

Ted Cruz 16 (88.9%) Please, please.
Rick Perry 1 (5.6%)
Marco Rubio 1 (5.6%)
Carly Fiorina 0 (0%)
Rand Paul 0 (0%)
Still 18, hundreds may be an exaggeration. They've probably banned 180 or more.

The 5 that don't stand a chance:
Ben Carson
Lindsey Graham
Mike Huckabee :?:
George Pataki
Rick Santorum
