The Music Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

This isn't an album...it's a live recorded cassette. Quality isn't the best in the world, but it's real.

What did you kill, Bungalow Bill?
I don't think BB ended up killing anything. He
was lucky he didn't shoot himself in the foot.

Hey B Bill - Speaking of music, are you a fan of the Pumpkins, or just like the pic in your avatar?

I forgot what year, but several years ago BeauSoleil was at the Orange Peel July 4th. When it was time for the outdoor fireworks, they took a break and everybody - including them, went outside to watch. Michael Doucet was just hanging out with everybody else and the cool part was nobody pestered him for autographs or whatever. Just let him be an Ashevillian for the night. I love Cajun and Zydeco, maybe an acquired taste from spending some time in Louisiana, but it will definitely get you on your feet. One of my little tick-offs to the life's fun list was getting to play rubboard with Waylon Thibodeaux's band on Bourbon St. It's not like I really play rubboard particularly, but hey, it's a bar and he's taking volunteers. What fun! Too bad that was before selfies.

Yep sounds about right. Good show, wasn't too keen on the crowd though. Bunch of whiny little bitches.

I not only like the pic, but I like the music too, sort of like the
hair club for men. 2007 was when they released Zeitgeist.
That's the last SP album I bought. But they're still out there recording,
though only Billy is left from the original band. Smashing Pumpkins,
the early years.:

What's up with that smacking the floor with the guitar? Is that some form of entertainment? :-0?>

Poor little offended dipshit. Can you tell us what worthwhile contribution you've made to the forum?
Here, I'll help you remember.

That's why you're so like me; your being an embarrassment to your family and all who know you. What you call yourself and what you are----wait a minute----that sounds familiar------ I was about to infringe on Mr.B's copyrighted material, but if the shoe fits.
