... In short, Davis, Huckabee, Santorum and their allies aren’t obeying Christian doctrine; they are using it as an excuse for bigotry. They are simply too narrow-minded to accept the fact that some people have preferences and commitments that are different from their own. Their claims of conscience are really excuses for mistreating other people, and, in the process, they are mistreating the Christian religion as well.

Yeah, I thought it was a stretch. I mostly wanted the OK officials to see that I'd cc'd DOE OCR. I'm not gonna bother with the complaint form.
I'm surprised that religion isn't on the list, it is with most discrimination regulation.
I did not listen to the Pope's speech, but I've heard he made impassioned calls on climate change, immigration reform, redistribution of wealth, recognition of women and a global end to the death penalty, and did not dwell much on "traditional" marriage and abortion, all while citing to Congress Thomas Merton and Dorothy Day!

So Nikki Heat says "God smiled on South Carolina" (with the sunshine). That leaves only one logical conclusion and that is that God spat upon South Carolina in the days previous. Or God isn't really in charge of the weather, but can occasionally over-ride whoever is.
