Ummm, rstrong already figured out your intent and I acknowledged it. That doesn't mean that noting that your possessive pronoun use was vague if not incorrect is a "Fail". Do you ever take responsibility for your choices, Seth Milner?

Ummm, the "fail again" remark was referring to myself. Is that my taking responsibility, or are you deliberately trying to fail Comprehension 101?Vrede too wrote:Ummm, rstrong already figured out your intent and I acknowledged it. Youtube tends to recommend similar videos to the ones you've been watching. In Seth's case, no doubt Russian porn could be a thing. I'd only really believe it if it were gay porn though.Bungalow Bill wrote:It's more amusing than upsetting. Of course that's a piece of shit to atheist liberals who can't or won't see that what Paul Harvey said was 'prophetic' truth. Much of what he said came to pass (Biblically speaking here), and you're right, he's not the devil, but he had a pretty good foresight of what this nation is turning into. I'm not a religious person neither do I put much thought into prophetic sayings, but I believe Paul Harvey hit the nail on the head 50 years ago. I removed the You Tube post because at the end of the video was suggested viewing for some stupid videos of Russian soft porn. I'm no prude, but I don't post trash. Anyone wanting to see what we're talking about can search "If I were The Devil" by Paul Harvey on You Tube. Good day.
each time I find it to be rather silly. Do things change over a period of 50 years?
Of course. Did Harvey's prophecy of doom and gloom come true? Nope. We're
still rolling along just fine, thank you. There will always be some problems in
the world and in this country, but they don't have anything to do with the devil.
This reminds me of all the goofy predictions that America will follow in the
footsteps of the Roman Empire. The only good things about Harvey's piece is
that it is now fifty years old and we can see how wrong it was. For that alone,
I thank him. I didn't notice the Russian soft porn thing. I really didn't. I just
hope that it had nothing to do with pictures of Putin's man boobs.

The American Family Association is putting together an index of which businesses hate gays the most: to find out for Christians everywhere which companies are deserving of their business.
Well, now Seth will know where to shop, and the rest of us will know where not to. Win win!

With his Stalinesque style of accusing political opponents of mental illness, it's probably gay Russian porn.

That's true, though an unrelated video will sneak in every oncebannination wrote: Youtube tends to recommend similar videos to the ones you've been watching. In Seth's case, no doubt Russian porn could be a thing. I'd only really believe it if it were gay porn though.
in a while. My grandmother listened to Harvey all the time.
Compared to many of the wingnuts on the air today, he was
almost sane. I recall his long, long defense of Nixon during
the last days of Watergate. I think even Harvey threw in the
towel at the end. Good....day.

No they don't. They might have done so at one time, but now they've got so much bullshit being posted, there is no control over what may be recommended viewing. For instance, you might be watching some religious whatever, and when it ends, the recommended viewing selections might switch to something that could be deemed pornographic; or the other way around.

I detest porn; gay, straight, soft porn or hard porn, or otherwise. Porn is filthy, exploits women, and debases humans to a scale lower than base animals.

How does porno exploit women?

Re: The Religion Thread
Well, look, "exploit" can have more than one context. In one context, a person, male or female, who voluntarily agrees to do "X" for "Y" money and they're happy with the deal, isn't being "exploited." But the problem with porn is more the degradation of women, the "exploitation" of them as sexual robots rather than people, and generally as subservient to the males. But that's just the filmed fantasy part. IRL, not all of the female performers are compensated all that well or treated all that fairly. The line between being a porn girl and a ho is pretty thin.

Some Christians Are Extremely Unhappy About Starbucks' New Holiday Cups
The absence of snowflakes on the cups "denies the hope of Jesus," one woman claims.
... To clarify, it's not like the previous cups were decked out in crosses and mangers. It’s unclear why a drawing of a winking snowman or a dog sledding, for instance, is more “Christian” than a plain red and green (you know, Christmas colors) cup.
But either way, angry Starbucks patrons have a solution. Former pastor Joshua Feuerstein claimed in a viral Facebook video that he had “pranked” Starbucks by simply telling them his name was “Merry Christmas” -- thus forcing the surely unimpressed barista to write the words “Merry Christmas” on the cup....If your way of "pranking" Starbucks involves buying a cup of their coffee, I'm pretty sure the joke's on you. #MerryChristmasStarbucks... Happy holidays, everyoneIf you need a coffee chain to be your ambassador of Christ you need to re-examine your relationship w/God #MerryChristmas #Starbucks

Meet Popular Prophet Who Walks On Air
Prophet Bushiri of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) in Malawi has left the Christian world awe-struck with a miracle in which he floats on thin air. Bushiri, who earned himself a reputation as a man of God with his prophesies, has left tongues wagging with a new video that depicts him walking in the air.
The hair-raising miracle worker was captured while performing his latest video.
The video showed him holding nothing but swinging his legs about. Shepherd Bushiri as he is fondly claims that God blesses him by helping him perform miracles. He regularly posts stunts on social media.
It is recalled that only recently, the Flamboyant Malawian Prophet also claimed that God ‘blessed’ him with a private jet and a Bentley.

Well, to be accurate, the vid showed him holding nothing, THEN his legs dangling, THEN again holding nothing. But hey, who am I to question a murkle from Zimbabwe?
