You must be central/north. The whole bottom end has been bucketing/storming all day.
Pensacola beach
it went through here last night
Cape San Blas for me in a few weeks.
work takes me out there a couple times a year.
can't think of anywhere special to eat, but you should be able to get oysters the size of your fist this time of year. There is a place in apalachicola I like - turn left (instead of following 98 when it turns right toward eastpoint) and go out to the end - it is something simple like Water Street Seafood

Nice, never been there. I'm planning on camping at St. Joseph state park (I think that's what it's called). You can pack it in and camp on the beach.
How's the temp in those parts that time of the year, typically?
You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.
Getting all ready for the drive to work tomorrow.
Shoveled the steps.
Shoveled a path to the rig with better traction.
Cleared some snow off the rig.
Found out the battery was dead.
Cleared the snow off the hood.
Cleared the snow off the hatchback so I could get the jumper cables.
Cleared some snow off the other rig.
Cleared the snow off the hood.
Got it stuck.
Shoveled a path from the rig with better traction to the stuck other rig.
Jumped the rig with better traction, let it run.
Parked the other rig, did not get stuck.
The snow is wet underneath. It's heavy and will be ice tomorrow.
Shoveled the steps and the path to the rig with better traction again.
Hour and a half.
More snow coming tonight.

no such thing as typical
could be upper 80s or low 30s - but if you are here for more than a day or two, you will probably see both
I haven't camped there in over 30 years, but you could walk out in shallow water forever and fill a 5 gallon bucket with scallops
