The LEO thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Yes. And what did they design it for? To kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. Just the thing we need in the hands of a bunch of rednecks.
....at a time when police were recruiting many rednecks coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan, having learned to treat all civilians as The Enemy, and to open fire on any civilian who so much as approached too quickly. And in the case of Blackwater/Xe/Academi employees, also then shooting at everyone else in the area.

If they're too aggressive as regular police, move 'em to SWAT teams and give 'em the same weapons and armored vehicles they had in Iraq. Start using SWAT teams to arrest even non-violent criminals, armed take-down style. And to answer domestic disturbance calls. What could possibly go wrong repeatedly?

It's so bad that it completely overwhelms any small pleasure from it happening to two former CIA analysts.

When I read the article, I wondered if maybe that could have been a motive for the cops coming at them so hard. It is, after all, Brownback's right-wing utopia. Makes more sense than the story that they got suspicious because of them buying hydroponic stuff from a garden shop. This place, http://fifthseasongardening.com/ one of Lady O Really's favorites, would be raided daily until it burned to the ground if left to those Kansas cops and judge.

Ummm, no. But my Brit-born mum used to. Lucky she didn't get busted, I guess. I'm sure she would have been suspicious to the Kansas cops. Furriner drinking weird shit.

Could very well be that "This place, http://fifthseasongardening.com/ one of Lady O Really's favorites" is surveilled, but y'all weren't ruled in for other stupid reasons like the former CIA analysts were. It's not like NC is that much better than KS these days.

Re: Silently protesting Muslim woman ejected from (Rock Hill, SC) Trump rally
http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/08/politics/ ... index.html

Shame on you for placing your department at the service of bigotry by ejecting a Muslim woman who silently stood up. Obviously, you did not eject Christians that stood up to applaud or go to the bathroom. It was the chanting people around her "who made any kind of disturbance" but you chose to discriminate against the quiet Muslim. All of the people are your bosses, not "The Trump campaign", and your duty is to the Constitution, not Trump's ugly platform.

Not only a hater of the 1st Amendment and an inciter of murder, but also stupid enough to announce it to the world on Facebook.

So, if you are ever waved over by St. Paul cops that are on foot -

Run them over. Keep traffic flowing and don't slow down for any of these idiots who try and block the street. Here is the deal, you continue to drive and if you hit someone make sure you call *the state police* to report the accident and meet *them a mile* or two away and you can justify stopping further away because you feared for your safety since in the past *St. Paul cops have* shown a propensity towards violence. Since they are trying to block the street and/or cross where there is no crossing you should not be charged with anything. Now, these idiots could try and sue in civil court, but remember that it will be jury trial and so most likely it will come out in your favor.

Note: It's parody. Murderous cops benefit from different rules, so it would never work.

'Snowboarding with the NYPD': YouTube filmmakers use NYC blizzard shutdown for viral video

... The storm dumped a total of 26.6 inches of snow in Central Park on Saturday — a single-day record — causing Mayor Bill de Blasio to order a 2:30 p.m. shutdown of New York City's streets.

Most of the footage was captured before the shutdown, though a patrol car did pull the filmmakers over at one point.

"Someone complained about you, so we're going to act like we're talking to you," an unidentified officer can be heard telling renegade filmmakers.

"You guys are awesome," Neistat replies....
