Increased lead by 5 points. It wasn't Trump fans who were booing - and Trump fans probably liked what he was booed for.

Gloria Steinem Apologizes for Saying Young Women Support Bernie Sanders to Chase Boys

... The Women’s Media Center co-founder came under fire on Twitter after appearing on HBO’s “Real Time” Friday night.

“When you’re young, you’re thinking, ‘Where are the boys? The boys are with Bernie,'” Steinem told Maher, who leapt right on her comment.

“Now if I said that, ‘Yeah, they’re for Bernie because that’s where the boys are,’ you’d slap me,” he said....

"slap" is sexist, Bill. You should have said, "... you’d punch me in the nose." :D
The older, richer Dem boys are supporting Hillary, there are tons of places to find political and apolitical boys besides Bernie rallies, and it's mostly boys that do that kind of chasing - it's not like bars sponsor "Guys Night". Like it or not, women and men youth prefer Bernie for their own reasons.

“There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!”
-- Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright at a Clinton rally in New Hampshire this weekend

There’s a special place in hell for women who can't come up with a better reason for supporting Hillary (there are lots) than her lack of a Y chromosome and who say that women that choose otherwise are sinners.

You can play that game with any candidate.

Cruz: "I ain't voting for an ex-Fidel Castro follower's foreign-born son."

Trump: "I ain't voting for the son of a KKK brawler and the grandson of a pimp."

etc.

Rubio: "I ain't voting for the anchor baby son of a low level drug dealer."

Bush: "I ain't voting for the brother of, well, you know."

Wow, that's desperate.

Ouch, the way they're going after each other the GOP nominee is gonna limp into the general. Too many bastards with lots of fat cat money keeping them going despite not enough popular support. It's ironic that the con Citizens United ruling has damaged the GOP more in two POTUS elections.

February 5, 2016 - U.S. Republicans Want Trump, But Rubio Is Best In November, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; Dem Race Is Tied, But Sanders Runs Better Against GOP

... Sanders and Rubio are the strongest candidates in general election matchups. If former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg runs, he hurts Sanders more than he hurts any of the top Republican contenders.

Among Republicans, 30 percent say they "would definitely not support" Trump, while 15 percent say no to Cruz and 7 percent say no to Rubio.

Sanders has the highest favorability rating among top candidates, while Trump has the lowest....

General election matchups among American voters show:

Clinton tops Trump 46 - 41 percent;
Clinton ties Cruz 45 - 45 percent;
Clinton trails Rubio 48 - 41 percent;

Sanders edges Cruz 46 - 42 percent;

Positive 42 - 28 percent for Rubio;
Negative 20 - 25 percent for Bloomberg with 53 percent who don't know enough about him to form an opinion.

There we go, it could be socialist vs. socialist in Nov. :lol:

Also -

American Future Fund

American Future Fund is a 501(c)(4) Koch-tied nonprofit entity largely dedicated to running television and web ads that promote conservative causes and influence elections. Like many (c)(4) groups, the Fund has been very secretive about who controls or manages it. AFF was founded in 2008 by Nick Ryan, who worked as an advisor to right-wing former Senator Rick Santorum in the 2012 presidential campaign. He founded the pro-Santorum Super PAC, Red White and Blue Fund. AFF records indicate that they were incorporated by Alex N. Vogel and his wife, Jill Holtzman Vogel, who together run the consulting agency Holtzman Vogel. The first president of the group, Nicole Schlinger, was the former executive director of the Iowa Republican Party. According to NPR, a large number of AFF's leadership were members of Mitt Romney's 2008 failed campaign for president.

The American Future Fund received $1.1 million from the Koch-tied Center to Protect Patient Rights in 2011 after getting $1.3 million in 2009 and $11.7 million in 2010....
As of January 27, the WaPo/AP had not found out which candidate American Future Fund is hoping to help with these attack ads, and we may never learn where the money came from.

ISIS, perhaps. Or some other enemy of America afraid of Republicans - even Ted Cruz - using common sense.

There used to be a cartoon called Lil' Bush that was pretty funny, from what I remember anyway.

They portrayed Jeb Bush as "special".

Man I can't believe they showed this on comedy central.

That hot dog song, man:
Hot Dogs are so much fun/Eat em' with your hands or eat em' with a bun

Hot Dogs are so much fun/I'd torture a grown man to get me one
You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.

Orlando Bosch (responsible for bombings from South America to Florida to Canada and even a car bomb in Washington DC, his "greatest hit" was bombing an airliner out of the sky, killing 73 people) died in 2011. Jeb! arranged the pardon and residency in the US for Orlando Bosch with his dad.

We'll never know whether Jeb! would have enlisted him for an endorsement ad. But given his endorsement from the torturer-in-chief, it seems likely.

I'm just surprised that when Trump announced that he could shoot somebody and get away with it, Jeb! didn't trot out Dick Cheney.

Oops! my bad! I received a letter today from the Cruz campaign with the words "Check Enclosed" stamped on the outside of the envelope! Inside was a non-negotiable check for $45.00 made out to me (along with my address) to be used as a donation to his campaign; all I had to do was sign and they would send me a bill by return mail! Now ain't that slick! The accompanying letter was addressed to "My fellow Conservative". :bs:
