As I understand it, the Trinity is three expressions of one being:

Of course, that's for the denominations that believe in the Trinity. Not all do.

Trinitarianism was just one of several competing views in early Christianity, including also Adoptionism, Monarchianism, Arianism, Subordinationism and others.

If you were an early Christian you were probably an Adoptionist - Jesus was born in the normal way and was later adopted as God's Son because of his sinless devotion to God. This is the view in the earliest Christian writings, and there's no sign that Paul ever heard of the Virgin birth story. But a couple hundred year later Trinitarianism took over and Adoptionism was declared heresy.

Marco Rubio's new campaign ad opens with "It's morning again in America..." While showing a tugboat with a Canadian flag cruising past the Vancouver skyline.

I'm not sure if that's better or worse than other candidates' pledges to build a wall on the border.

I would say it's a birdie shot at Trump, such as: :oII Oh, wait . . . that would be Cruz! Still . . . it's not that bad a mistake; Vancouver is in America.

Trump's "Make America Great Again" has been made to look wussy by Rubio's vision of what he calls "Greater America". Deal with it, hoser.

Depends on the dictionary
And even then not all words can be found, as dictionaries are descriptive - not prescriptive

How many brochures did you collect? Oh wait . . . you were the narcissistic one; the only one who didn't receive a brochure.
My bad. Must be nice to be perfect.

As quick as I can find a Canadian language translator, rstrong, I'll reply to your reply. Having a little trouble.

I can live being called a hoser, but that 'rotting turnip' is still smarting rather badly. That cut to the quick. I just don't know how anyone could stoop so low to call someone that.

Donald Trump reminds Republicans he can sink their party (with an independent run) even if he loses the nomination

Given his liberal positions, historic and some still current, is it possible that this was his plan all along and that becoming the GOP leader was as much a surprise to him as to the rest of us?

So, if he does make an independent run the Dem wins.

If he loses the nomination and doesn't make an independent run, what then?
Are enough Trumpettes disgusted that they stay home and the Dem wins?
Would Trumpettes still vote GOP, anyhow?
Would Trumpettes vote Dem in protest?
Who is more likely to capture an angry Trump voter, moderate/lib Hillary or "revolutionary" Bernie?

Thoughts?

Not likely. If Trump wins, he's more the type to revive the Texas secession movement. He's already renounced citizenship in the country of his birth, so one more wouldn't be a big step.

As I've posted before, Canada's Tea Party was running the country until a few months ago. I was saying that America's Tea Party could do the same, but I'll revise that to Trump's party with Palin and a lot of the Tea Party crowd:

Canada in the 1990s
U.S. in the 2010s

The Conservative Party destroyed its brand.
The Republican Party destroyed it's brand.

The far right separated from the Conservative Party and formed the Reform Party.
After the 2008 election the Tea Party rises. After 2012 it dominates the Republican Party. In 2016 the Trump/Palin crowd separates from the Republican Party to form their own Reform/Tea/Trump Party.

With the vote on the right split, the Liberal Party won the next election.
With the vote on the right split, the Democrats win in 2016.

The Reform Party blamed the loss on the remaining Conservative party. And since extremists get more press than, er, conservatives, its their message that dominated the news. Most of the remaining Conservatives crossed over to the Reform Party.
The Reform/Tea/Trump Party gets all the press for the right, for the same reasons Trump gets it now. No-one pays attention to the Republicans. Trump blames them for the 2016 loss. And so most of the remaining Republicans cross over to the Reform/Tea/Trump Party.

The Reform Party renamed itself the Conservative Party of Canada, got the extremists to shut up, and was soon running the country.
The Reform/Tea/Trump Party renames itself the Republican Party. The Democrats will have run the country for 12 years in 2020, and are kicked out pretty much by default no matter what they do. Trump becomes more moderate having spent several years facing the realities of running the country (and sensing that the right is tired of the clown car), and wins.
