N.H. newspaper that endorsed Chris Christie: ‘Boy, were we wrong’

As a former prosecutor, I'm sure Christie has, when seeing a glaring contradiction, ask the witness, "well, were you lying then, or are you lying now?" Good question to ask Governor Bridgegate.
Too bad, really. Other than being a typical NJ sleazy politician, Christie was one of the better guys in the race until he tried to appeal to the idiots.

Now, unless Trump wins and appoints Christie to an important position, both unlikely, “Chris Christie is now ruined. If it had not been obvious to him before this weekend, his political career is essentially over,” seems correct. He might have managed some political office or "NJ sleazy" elder statesman otherwise.

A judge has dismissed a claim that Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz isn't eligible for the Illinois ballot because he was born in Canada. Cook County Circuit Court Judge Maureen Ward Kirby tossed the case on a technicality Tuesday, the AP reports. Kirby says the suburban Chicago attorney who filed the complaint, Lawrence Joyce, failed to give a copy of it to Cruz or state electoral board members, as required by Illinois law. Instead, Joyce served only lawyers representing Cruz and the board....

So, Drumpf seven, Cruz three, Marco one. Drumpf it will be now that Cruz won't bail anytime soon.

Clinton six + barely MA, Bernie four. He's still in it, sorta. With most of the South now done, he might be more competitive. MA and Iowa are the only non-southern states Clinton has won, and those were both squeakers.

Re the super delegates that are nearly all with Clinton: They naturally side with the leader early - party solidarity and the hope of favors and jobs. They can and usually do switch to the votes leader and have never made the difference at a convention.

According to three Fox sources, Fox chief Roger Ailes has told people he's lost confidence in Rubio's ability to win. "We're finished with Rubio," Ailes recently told a Fox host. "We can't do the Rubio thing anymore."
