Doesn't count. Americans like 1960s/1970s Neil Young. He was popular BEFORE he moved to the US. Before we put The Plan in place.Vrede too wrote:We like Neil Young

Fasting for cruz
Ted Cruz campaign asks supporters to fast on behalf of voters in Tuesday’s primary states
WASHINGTON – Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign asked supporters Monday to consider fasting for the presidential hopeful, one day before delegate-rich primaries that could cement front-runner Donald Trump’s grip on the Republican presidential nomination.
Tuesday’s primaries – in Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, and the Northern Mariana Islands – put 367 delegates up for grabs in the Republican presidential race. Trump leads polling in most states, though Ohio Gov. John Kasich holds a six-point lead over Trump in his home state in a new NBC/Marist poll. A candidate needs 1,237 to win the nomination.
An email from Cruz’s prayer team urged “fellow prayer warriors” to bow their heads and abstain from food on behalf of voters in Tuesday’s contests.
“Many of you have prayerfully interceded and fasted on your own for our nation and for Ted Cruz, the candidate we believe God will use to reignite the promise of America,” the email read. It urged voters to do so again, and pray that “each person would discern the difference between [God's] wisdom and the distraction of false messages.”
This is not the first time people have fasted for Ted Cruz. Radio host Glenn Beck, who has endorsed Cruz, had urged other supporters to join him in fasting for Cruz’s success last month in the Nevada caucus.
Cruz came in third place behind Trump and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, trailing the real estate businessman by more than 20 points.
Other politicians have also used fasting to rally around a cause. Former Gov. Rick Perry once invited fellow governors to a “Day of Prayer and Fasting” in 2011 to encourage “spiritual solutions to the many challenges we face in our communities, states and nation,” inspiring heated debate about its politics.
But for a presidential candidate to ask supporters to fast ahead of a voting contest was “certainly unusual,” said Martin Medhurst, a political science professor at Baylor University. Medhurst said he could not recall such an instance in the last 40 years.
The request is not unusual for Cruz’s campaign, which has lobbied hard for the support of the evangelical right, he added. “Prayer and fasting often go together,” he said. “Part of what he’s trying to communicate is that this is a crucial moment.”
At a campaign stop in Glen Ellyn, Ill., Cruz ignored a question shouted by a reporter as to whether he is personally fasting today.
Tuesday’s primaries offer the largest number of delegates since Super Tuesday two weeks ago. Kasich and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are both battling to carry their home states, which use a winner-take-all format. Wins for Trump in both states would give him a sizable delegate lead ahead of his three opponents and make him the prohibitive favorite for the party’s nomination.

This is Trump we're talking about. He won't have a normal VP selection process. Potential candidates are going to have to fight to the death for the position. When anyone complains, he'll just point out that the old system led to Sarah Palin.
That look on Christie's face while standing behind Trump was him realizing that the next time he's seen in public, he'll be wearing a Mexican wrestling outfit. Metaphorical or otherwise.

Re: Anchor baby cruzer gets a thread
It's a Hail Mary for Cruz, one unlikely to impress misogynistic GOP voters and delegates much.
What's Fiorina's play here? Surely she knows that he has little chance of getting the nomination and zero chance of winning the general.
