I'm just gonna sit back and watch how much things in general will improve, and how my life will be so much better once shithead Meadows is handed his congressional seat. I look forward to others pointing out the advantages of having shithead as our representative in congress in case I miss them. I guess it's pretty exciting.

So pbo, you seem to know what qualities we need in the individual who should represent our area in the US House of Representatives. If not Meadows who might that be. Apparently the majority of those that live here do not share your sentiments. Is this a personal issue between you and Meadows? It's one thing to banter back and forth based on party alignment but your disdain for Meadows seems to go deeper than that.

I think Obama is a terrible President for reasons that have been said on this forum but I do not think he is a feces head.

I'm sure the regulars on this new forum can recognize who the players are by their writing style, political alignment, religious beliefs, etc., w/o asking the players to say "hey I was Harpo, MsConstrued, Dalton Trumbow, and many other IDs, but I'm Vrede on this forum. Who cares? The DNA is not hard to determine.

I see Meadows ads and his face and how he just parrots the party line like you allude to. I suspect the way he cuts costs and meets budgets in his own business, as he is so fond of pointing out, is by hiring or firing workers, but I've not checked this out. I guess it is a personal, visceral sort of thing......I don't think I would accept a ride from him if I were stranded. As for the qualities we need in our representative in Congress, I will know them when I see them. I don't see them in the pool or even on the horizon, but I'm not going to give up the ship, even though it's not mandatory that I not do so. I think a good start would be to have our Congressional representative be a regular non elite non party line person, but I don't know who that would be.....maybe Bungalow Bill. What do you think?

BU, I asked a PUBLIC question expecting a PUBLIC answer not an unsolicited PM. When you PM someone the message goes in your outbox and remains there until it is opened by addressee. That is how to tell if PM is delivered. Now that means for the first time in many months you have learned something new!

Meadows is just a stock right wing type, nothing very new here, just cranking out the usual BS.
But he really won't have much power, and unless you need a favor, the local representative can
mostly be disregarded. I just hope he takes down that big uglyass sign on 280 after the election.
