What I remember is that Colonel Taylor never once panned his bud, John Fogle, for threatening legal action, even when he was shown the quotes and links.

I also remember Colonel Taylor libeling a real person, Eva, based on nothing more than what Timm told him. I don't think anyone threatened him with the law over it.

I doubt it went as far as an Attorney my self. It was a poster with two or three Aliases and had to do with me Cursing at OReally (which I apologized for) they said it was a threat! They continue to follow my post for a while and kept asking if I was threatening them.
As far as Eva goes it wasn't hearsay because Timm was the involved party, she owed money and wouldn't pay. Deadbeat. I was lucky enough to have very few stiff me over the years in business and I have no sympathy for them. She was here bragging how well she was doing yet owed money to a contractor. LowLife Extraordinaire.
One nice thing about NC is you can post bad checks and deadbeats in your place of business, I've seen a few. There's a picture of a WHKP reporter with a bad invoice in a store I visited, with his name and place of employment in BIG LETTERS. In the state I came from even after winning a case you couldn't show their bad check or overdue invoices.
