I spent several years growing up in Northern Manitoba, and got pretty far north a few times. But I never got as far as Lynn Lake, where "For Better or Worse" was written/drawn.
Even today people are complaining because the road from Thompson - a dirt road two hundred miles long through uninhabited territory - is some times impassible except to large trucks.
I don't think she lived there all that long. But the story was set around Toronto. If Lake Lynn is as you say, it's understandable why she'd create somewhere else.
I was browsing old pics and saw one of me with luscious long hair.
Which begs the question... where is my hair going as I grow older? Is father time stealing it undetected whilst I sleep? What else do you think he's doing to my body while I'm passed out!!!!!?
You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.
So The Cleveland Board of Tourism was not happy with the first video that I turned in. In fact, they said that upon viewing it, three of the board members moved away.
They insisted that I turn in a proper Cleveland tourism video, otherwise they will pursue litigation.
So I was really planning on buckling down and giving it my all this time, but there was a "Rock of Love" marathon on VH1 last night that I didn't want to miss, so I cranked this video out in even less time than the first one. Roughly 35 minutes total.
Despite this, I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, and I think they will be too.
I still remember a trucker that picked me up hitchhiking 40 (?) years ago calling it The Mistake by the Lake.
