Would a true lib'rul socialist tree-hugger "join hands and sing 'Kumbaya'" Democrat engage in fat shaming?Vrede too wrote:That's a weighty criticism.

Re: Non-Trump Republicans
Unless I see the rare medical evidence otherwise, it's a lifestyle choice.
I'll take "tree-hugger", even of fat trees
, but I'm not lib'rul, socialist (mostly), woo-woo or a Democrat.
That said, "troll" Christie has now created a "bridge" to the Dems and he's paying the "toll" for his "hostage, sell-out who got conned" Trumpishness.

Re: Non-Trump Republicans
Some good points:
As one trained psychiatrist said to me, compare Donald Trump’s speaking patterns to a Robin Williams monologue, but with insults instead of jokes.
[...]
For the past many months Republican leaders have been condemning Trump’s acts while sticking with Trump the man. Trump is making that position ridiculous and shameful. You either stand with a man whose very essence is an insult to basic decency, or you don’t.
Those who don’t will have to start building a Republican Party in Exile.

They can create an enclave in Alberta for launching guerrilla media attacks and building towards a Bay of Pigs style assault on the RNC. In the short term, it will probably be just as effective. The stupid and indecency runs deep in the GOP.

Ammon Bundy and Y'all Qaeda would have taken charge, had they not acted a few months too early. Which is just as well; the Keystone pipeline would have to be reversed to send lube up to Alberta.

Re: Non-Trump Republicans
Still, I've stopped calling it the Trump campaign. Republicans have spoken: Trump is their choice to lead the country, the issue settled even before it got to the convention. Trump got 70% of the delegate votes, compared to less than 20% for his nearest competitor.
It's the Republican campaign.
It's the Republican campaign.

Ouch.
First the Republican Party declared Dubya to be White House material. Then Sarah Palin. Now Trump, with Ted Cruz a distant second.
Follow that trend line. Who will it be in 2020? Ammon Bundy? Sherriff Arpaio? A rabid skunk? Seth Milner?

I thought thumper should have picked Kim Kardashian for vp. Maybe she'll run in 2020.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
