Non-Trump Republicans

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

No. Even Cruz and Carson weren't coarse enough for the batshit crazy. My disbelief is admittedly anecdotal; every single evangelical I know has been enamored of the trumphole since he started talking shit last summer. trump has- in their little minds- made it okay to release their inner racist, wealth-worshipping, woman-hating, homo-hating, gun-loving asswipe.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

I can't claim much personal knowledge. I'm still depressed that one of my co-nurses was supporting Cruz. Because of similar experiences I mostly avoid talking politics at work. Otherwise, I don't run into that many evangelicals . . . that I know of.

This only proves that Trump is a maverick candidate that the establishment is trying to crush.

They are entitled to their vote so am I. They are bad losers when the candidates they wanted didn't win they took it out on the winner. They lack team spirit and God bless them if they hope to run for office.
who cares blah blah blah. Americans who have half a brain want a change in the current corruption ill take my chances with Trump not the professional lier that's never worked a real job and has proven consistently that she can't do anything right she didn't know a privet server in her basement was wrong that destroying court ordered emails was wrong she can't possible be that stupid so lets put her in the white house I guess those who vote for her are the stupid uninformed voters
Dang.... Do you ever go out of your parent's basement? i mean.. how in God's name you got all these Wanna Bee's all together?!? maybe watch CNN or CNBC 24/7? hahaha i feel for yah (whoever u are Vrede) what a waste of Human Life! I'm not an Trump supporter here.. but COMMON SENSE THOUGH... Would you vote for a Candidate that since the 1st day she worked as a Gov't. Official.. SHE LIED TO YOU UNTIL NOW.. Look at the hacked info from the democratic party, hacked on her personal email account.. Common Y'all REALLY?!? If i decide to vote this nov. (IF I WILL VOTE) i'd rather take my chances to DONALD TRUMP.. atleast i know what's up by following him on his real twitter account..It doesn't matter if you have the highest degree in this damn world but once you decide to vote for Hillary it just made you IGNORANT and A FOOL.. A Fool for a Very long time that has/had been blinded by people that got FAT from the MONEY of EVERY SINGLE AMERICANS! SHAME ON Y'all!
Each of the people you mentioned has only one vote. Some of them have personal vendetta against Trump, so they don't count. 150 million Americans will decide this election in favor of a change for our Country.

If trump wins, our Country wins, if Hillary wins, our Country will lose.

Not just the usual locker room rating, dreaming, etc., but also describing in detail his own crude behavior. Arguably not worse than the many other foul things he's said, but apparently the final straw for many. We'll see, there may not be a point to adding to this topic anymore. However, that suggests a new one:

especially reed and perkins. I met reed in the early 80s. Without knowing anything about him I wanted to wash my hand after shaking his.

Since then everything he has done makes me wish I had known to refuse his handshake. Maybe with some sort of comment about not wanting to touch assholes.

With Dubya's presidency there was the assumption - at least early on - that he was at least surrounded by competent people. (9/11: Defence Dept. reassures Americans, "The President is not in control.")

If Trump wins, not only will he brush off competent advice, but all the folks on this list won't even be around to try.

No time to merge this with our list, but...

BuzzFeed: Here’s The Long, Long, Long List Of Republicans Abandoning Trump

Trump has been spewing bigotry and misogyny for the last year, with a record going back decades. Republicans didn't have a problem with that. What's finally turned them against Trump is the idea of his hands on someone's else's (white) woman.

So, when Trump is humiliated by losing to Hillary, imagine how humiliated the candidates will be that lost to Trump.

This hurts other GOP candidates so many ways this year:
Some Republicans will be disgusted with the pols sticking with Trump.
Some Republicans will be disgusted with the pols that stuck with Trump so long.
All Trumpette Republicans will be disgusted with the pols that have ditched Trump.
Lots of these will be disgusted with the GOP in general.

Some of them will vote Dem, but many more will just say 'Screw it' and not vote at all. Still unlikely, but the House is now in play. Whatever the losses are - the WH, probably the Senate, maybe the House - they're all going to be blaming each other over whose fault it is for years.

Or...

- Trumpsucker Republicans have been trained by Cruz and others in recent years to be disgusted with the "Republican Establishment." With no much Republican establishment not backing Trump, and Trump only able to escalate rather than admit failure, Trump and the Trumpsuckers form their own party. Cruz, Palin and all the clown car candidates and Tea Party join them.

- The adults stay with the Republican party. But adults don't get media coverage. Clowns and wingnuts do. That includes Fox News, as always getting revenue from impotent right-wing rage.

- With the vote split the Republican Party is decimated in the next election. Trump's party does better, but still doesn't win. They blame Republicans for splitting the vote. Attacks escalate.

- Remaining Republicans have no choice but to cross over to Trump's party, if they want a chance of being elected. Control of the House and Senate is dissolved completely. The last vestiges of the old Republican Party have been firmly swept away. The regional governors now have direct control over their territories. Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station... [...] Sorry.
