Who won the debate?
I can't vote, since I haven't watched it, but hey, curious what the results will be.

Re: Who won the debate?
I had high expectations for this debate. I was expecting a fist fight, or at the very least Trump could've grabbed Hillary by her pussy.Vrede too wrote:By not watching?JTA wrote:I won.
Instead I just got a bunch of back and forth about policy and issues. What the fuck kind of debate is that!?

Re: Who won the debate?
Just my opinion, not calling the results. Canada and JTA weren't in the poll when I posted (thanks banni). I've voted for Canada, but Bernie could be an option, too.

This poll was clearly rigged

Trump and JTA have something in common - they lose to a girl.

Re: Who won the debate?
Evidently, CBS did not provide Canada and JTA as options.CBS News Battleground Tracker poll: Who won final debate?
... By a double-digit margin, voters in 13 states identified as battlegrounds by CBS News say Hillary Clinton won the final presidential debate of the 2016 campaign. Forty-nine percent say Clinton won, while 39 percent think Trump was the winner. Twelve percent call it a tie....

Re: Who won the debate?
"Who won" is by necessity totally subjective on those TV specials named "debate." Generally everybody is going to think their person "won" so the evaluation is more a popularity rating than debate evaluation. Unless one or more of the candidates totally got owned by another. That was what made the first debate with Clinton/Trump so special - even Trump's people knew he got pasted. The last meeting, he would have been considered to "win" if (a) he showed up and didn't totally melt down; and (b) managed one or more moderately coherent on-topic responses, or (c) at least in the view of his supporters, got in one or more put-downs.
What passes for "debate" now is more closely related to the old game of "yo mamma" than to substantive discussion.

The Bernie-Hillary debates were fairly substantive . . . thus too boring to watch.O Really wrote:... What passes for "debate" now is more closely related to the old game of "yo mamma" than to substantive discussion.

Well sure, "yo mamma" is more entertaining to watch, and you don't have to bother to learn anything about the issues yourself in order to keep up. Perfect for the "poorly educated" who flock at Trump's feet.
