The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Nope. Trump has made it clear that he's strongly pro-torture (alone with other war crimes). I doubt he'd be any different than Jeb!, giving safe haven to terrorists when a business deal depends on it.

One governor’s defeat could be a watershed moment for gay rights

Not since Larry Craig widened his stance has a bathroom caused so much trouble for a politician....
With all the many ugly things they've done - education cuts, Medicaid, coal ash, corporate welfare, etc. - it'll be funny if we can say that MCCrory and the NC GOP got beaten up by gays and trans folks. Maybe they'll write a song about it.

I'll be damned. Grand Fagmaster got his personality back. You ever been around an old billy goat when the sonofabitch is in rut? One stinking , well, you know. I hope you use plenty of Right Guard when you and your fagbuddies are playing rutting games.

Nonsense. Every state has a steady stream of both one-time events and new companies setting up shop permanently. Cut off that stream and the state loses money and jobs, as do many existing local companies.

Plus, there are all the planned events that have been cancelled and all the companies in NC that have chosen not to expand here. All of NC is subsidizing the slacker bigots.

Nothing lost? Opportunity has value. Companies tend to go where others have had success. And avoid places where others have turned down. Cumulative effect. You can't tell me that if a governor (such as Nikki Heat, for example) finds it worthwhile to loudly and frequently tout what a business-friendly place she's got and how successful they are in attracting businesses and whoo whoo what a wonderful job I'm doing, that the opposite doesn't work also. Unless you're McCrory who for some time now has just made up crap as he goes along.

Bigotry, suppression of local control, and harming the economy for all is "moral"? Do tell.

Corrected - "Companies and events are avoiding NC by putting money ahead of immoral values." Of course, that's the Democratic way.
That and keeping guns out of toddler's hands by ensuring they're not born to begin with.
They're losing money by taking a stand in favor of civil rights.

You're still losing, hatemonger.

Not championing immorality and sexual deviation is hate-mongering; got it.
Redefine your hate and bigotry as morality all you want. The KKK did it, the Nazis did it, and by now no-one expects any better from you.

Just don't expect society to play along.

Mr.B is so much of a hatemonger that he loves wasting millions of tax dollars, costing his neighbors hundreds of millions of dollars in lost economic activity, and imposing Raleigh dictates on local governments on a wide range of issues that have nothing to do with his creepy, perverted, voyeuristic obsession with the gender and sex lives of others.
