Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

A Message To Whom It May Concern:

Unread post by Guest »

I believe this was posted in the BRN forums some time ago and it has begun circulating again. I edited out a lot of it,
such as "if you are a real American, you'll forward this to all you know" and that sort of crap.

The best I can remember, the liberals really got their tails in a knot over this, so I thought, "What the hell, let's have some fun."

I Am the Democratic, Republican, Liberal-Progressive's, Unaffiliated party's worst nightmare.
I am a White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, American Veteran, Gun Owning Biker.
I am a Master Mason. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living.
I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don't push it on others.

I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive
American-made cars, and I believe in
American products and buy them whenever I can.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal
governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, or other that
wants to share it with others who don't work!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart and protected American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything above and beyond
what others are entitled to, nor does it entitle you to any type of special treatment. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English.

I believe there should be no other language option.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

I don't accuse Christians of being responsible for the contents and events of the Bible, nor do I ridicule them
if they choose to follow Biblical values.

My heroes are Malcolm Forbes, Bill Gates, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson
(who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles).

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, nor was I a slave. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks, and neither have you!

If you immigrated here and you don't like the way things are here, I believe you should go back to where you came from and change your own country!

This is AMERICA ...It's far from perfect, but we like it the way it is and more so the way it was ...so stop trying to change it to look some other country! If you were born here and don't like it... you are free to move to any country that will have you.

I believe it is time to really clean house, starting with the White House, the seat of our biggest problems; then work on Congress and the House of Representatives. Their members should be bound by the same laws they impose on us, and they should have to suffer the same indignaties we do when it comes to their health and welfare, and retirement.

I want to know which church is it, exactly, where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and
why he is always part of the problem and not the solution?

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are, but not just because you happen to ride a bike.

And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license. I think it's good....And I'm proud that 'In God We Trust' is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you to have a part in deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause....Get a job and do your part to support yourself and your family!

I believe it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents....

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think!

I believe the American flag should be the only one, besides a state flag, allowed to fly in AMERICA !

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

We want our country back!

This is my Country, and your Country..... I hope this offends all illegal aliens.

My great, great, great, great grandfather watched and bled as his friends died in the Revolution & the War of 1812.

My great, great, great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Mexican American War.

My great, great grandfather watched as his friends & brothers died in the Civil War.

My great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Spanish-American War.

My grandfather watched as his friends died in WW I.

My father watched as his friends died in WW II.

I watched as my friends died in Vietnam, Panama, Grenada & Desert Storm.

My son watched & bled as his friends died in Afghanistan and Iraq .

None of them died for the Mexican Flag. Everyone died for the American flag.

Texas Hispanic high school students removed the American flag and raised a Mexican flag on the school flag pole, some
other students took it down. Guess who was expelled...the students who took it down.

California high school students were sent home on Cinco de Mayo Day because they wore T-shirts with the American
flag imprinted on them.

Enough is enough!!!

We've bent over backwards to appease the America-haters long enough. I'm taking a stand. I'm standing up because the
hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the American flag.

These statements DO NOT mean I'm against immigration, nor does it mean I'm a racist!

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE, IN OUR COUNTRY, WELCOME TO COME LEGALLY:

1. Get a sponsor
2. Learn the LANGUAGE, as immigrants have in the past!
3. Live by OUR laws!
4. Get a job!
5. Pay YOUR Taxes!
6. No Social Security until you have earned it and paid for it !
7. NOW find a place to lay your head!

America has gone so far the other way.......bent over backwards not to offend anyone.....

Why? Any Democrat or Liberal can write an equally honest version about themselves:

I Am the Republican, Democratic, Religious Right, Unaffiliated party's worst nightmare.
I believe in civil rights.
My race does not matter. My religion is my own business.

I pay taxes. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living.
I believe in a balanced budget.
I'm still waiting for Reagan's tax-breaks for the wealthy to trickle down to the middle class.
I don't believe that the rich should pay proportionally more taxes,
But neither should they pay less, or none. The same goes for corporations.
I won't believe that corporations are people until Texas executes one.

I believe that those responsible for the Wall Street collapse should be prosecuted.
The same goes for those who turned America into a torture state.

I drive American-made cars, and I believe in
American products and buy them whenever I can.

I believe in separation of Church and State as America's Founding Fathers intended.
I don't accuse Christians of being responsible for the contents and events of the Bible, nor do I ridicule them
if they choose to follow Biblical values. But I will make an exception - and more - when they force their particular interpretation of Christianity on other Christians and non-Christians.

We want our country back!

etc. etc. etc.

Good comeback. Well addressed without the usual nastiness.

We know for sure that what you wrote doesn't apply to you, because you're of an alien race. -0-?
I do take exception to the bold print above, because of what you posted in another thread:

Biblical Ridicule

Yes, what you've noted is found in the Bible, but you presented it in ridicule.

Funny how you edited it part of the statement:

if they choose to follow Biblical values. But I will make an exception - and more - when they force their particular interpretation of Christianity on other Christians and non-Christians.
In any case, how did I present what is found in the Bible, "in ridicule?" I presented an honest list of Biblical passages on a subject, with citations, and without comment.

Or is it "ridicule" any time that someone varies from your particular interpretation of the Bible?

rstrong, for you to make an exception to other's interpretation of the Bible that must mean you have your own intepretation and theirs doesn't fit yours. So who's interptetation is correct and how are we to determine who is correct?

It's not a matter of which interpretation is correct. The point is that those with one particular interpretation should not be setting laws to govern others according to that particular interpretation. My interpretation should not be relevant to you unless you want it to be. You should not be governed by my interpretation.

The 'editing' was not intentional, my bad. I wanted to comment only on the emboldened lines without re-posting your entire post,
and I deleted too much. I didn't go back and proofread. 'Opps'!

Not very christian of him.
That would be because I ain't.

Yeah, it does look like one of those simplified, knuckle dragging posts that the nutters used to
put up on BRN. Funny as all get out, but after a while they do get repetitious.
