Let's see, at this posting it's right now 24º with temps dropping below 0º for the remainder of the week...That was a smart move.

Of course it was. It's warm here.

Other than high school down in Toronto, I grew up a lot further north than Winnipeg. Try -50ºF. While rare even for Northern Manitoba, us kids were out building snow forts.
