I should get her a bible because the best gift you can give someone is salvation through lord Jesus.

If she has a favorite, buy her that. If not, I'd highly recommend Issey Miyake.

The Bible would be an excellent gift, but no one can give another salvation.

Been trying to warn her of the dangers of worshipping Moses, and that Christmas trees > hanukah candles because that's the true way to celebrate the Lord per scripture.

Put a Hanukkah candle and a Christmas tree together and see which one wins. God has taken a side.

A husband and wife were Christmas shopping in a busy shopping center just before Christmas.
The wife suddenly noticed that her husband was missing and as they had a lot to do, so she called him on her cell phone.

The wife said " Where are you, you know we have lots to do."

He said "You remember the jewelers we went into about 10 years ago, and you fell in love with that diamond necklace?
I could not afford it at the time and I said that one day I would get it for you?"
Little tears started to flow down her cheek and she got all choked up…
"Yes, I do remember that shop." she replied.
"Well I am in the gun shop next door to that."

I've made almost no progress. My parents are stuck in 1995 and my dad is one step away from being a cave man so a lot of modern technological type gifts are out of the question.

Experiential gift?

I got my Mom her first ever motorcycle ride one Mother's Day. Went into a local bike shop to ask if they knew anyone that I could hire to do it and they suggested a guy. He showed up on a sweet Honda Gold Wing. She loved it. I later saw an article that mentioned him and then googled. He wasn't just some guy with a bike and he sure didn't need the money.

For your parents? If so, maybe tickets to Colorado or one of the rational Northeast states.

You know how some yuppies are wine aficionados, always having a slew of bottles on hand, or with aged liquor? Well my pops is like that with the jazz cabbage.

Yesterday, Mr. Natural became legal in Massachusetts.....the bad news is that our new Attorney General (the incurable redneck from Alabama, Jeff Sessions) will direct the Dept of Justice to lower the boom on all the current legal pot shops. It's one of those instances in which the GOP is all for states rights except in cases that clash with their personal views, in which case "small government" gets kicked to the curb. But this is what happens out where the rubber meets the road.

Another reason to hold politics in disdain. A pol will crawl up on his soapbox and spew about "gays", legal pot, drugs, prostitution, etc and then get caught with their pants down in compromising positions doing what they've been crusading against.

If "legal" is an issue, though I don't know why it would be, you could get him relevant legal accessories, devices, clothing, books, movies, etc.
