Trump (aka The Whiny Sore-assed Losers Thread)

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I will be watching you continue to "joke around" once Trump gets both hands on the throttle and things start to go sideways on him. I suspect most of his (poorly educated) acolytes will continue to be mesmerized as usual while everything is going up in flames. We'll wait, as Colonel Taylor would say. Trump's arrogance and ignorance will not serve him well in his new position.

Reminds me of an old joke . . .

"Ooh! Read the card! Read the card!"
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

Hmmm... Speaking of sore-assed, I bet it wasn't a joke when you didn't read the card and discovered that despite it's name, "Ben-Gay" ain't a personal lubricant. :---P

I didn't vote in this election although I'm still officially a US citizen. I didn't like either of the final choices, (still don't care for the winner) and I too feel the election was fucked with; either on home soil or by outside sources. I am concerned about Trump's lack of political experience, but since I will not be an American citizen in a couple of years, I'm not going to run around with loose bowels and wringing my hands. His background as an arrogant, entitled, asshole doesn't bother me either; I ignored him before, I can ignore him now.

I am concerned about the few living relatives I have left, but they're on up in years, and they're not concerned with what America's future under Trump will produce.

I am concerned about the future of my friends, and how Trump's presidency will affect them as far as the effects of a dismantled Obamacare; they were doing fine before the ACA; it's implementation damned near ruined some of them financially, so now we have to wait and see what effects it's dismantling will have on the American citizens healthcare and pocketbook. The damn insurance companies found a convenient loophole somewhere and found a way to royally screw the American people. If Trump can find a way (or pay someone to) to tear up the ACA and make insurance more affordable, then he MIGHT gain a little more of my respect.

First I've heard of the aca ruining people financially. I do remember the hundreds of thousands who lost the homes, went bankrupt, we're denied care, or had to join the military to get insurance before the aca.
Homer is a liar.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”

Just like your asshole buddy Vrede tu-tu, you hear only what you want to hear. I'm talking about huge increases in premiums and co-pays and deductibles. The ones you speak of who lost homes, went bankrupt, and joined the military are the ones who found themselves FORCED to buy health insurance or pay hefty fines AFTER the ACA became law. Dumbass.

Being a "whiny sore-assed loser" is not a particularly good thing. If one were one of those things, I guess they'd do something like, oh, claim the winner was born in Kenya, or maybe set as first objective to oppose anything the winner did, no matter whether they'd supported it last year. And they might say things like "he's not my President."

But opposing a person in office because of what he says or says he's going to do or does is not sour grapes.

On the other hand, now that same-sex marriage is now legal and normal country-wide and supported by a growing majority of Americans - and becoming increasingly acceptable in Republican circles too - that would make homerphobe a "whiny sore-assed loser."
