Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Yeah, but I'll bet most of those other 49 states don't have drive-through daiquiri stands, Jazzfest, or Bayou Teche.

Partying makes it easier to handle being a crappy state than being a great state makes it easier to handle having crappy partying. :D

MA is #19 for infrastructure, its lowest ranking. NC is #47.

"Infrastructure 14%
The infrastructure rankings gauge the quality of states' bridges, public transportation, power grids, broadband and more."

Maybe MA does better with public transportation, power grids, broadband and more than it does roads and bridges.

Ah, here we go:
Infrastructure Rankings
Measuring states' energy, transportation and internet

#1 Oregon
#2 Washington
#3 Utah
#4 Nevada
#5 Minnesota
#46 Kentucky
#47 North Carolina
#48 Hawaii
#49 Texas
#50 Mississippi

#19 Massachusetts
Energy 42
Internet Access 1
Transportation 45
Your assessment is spot on.

Paraphrasing Freewheeling Franklin?
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.

Yes, good catch, though I didn't remember the source and never knew that The Freak Brothers had paraphrased "Gilbert Shelton: 'Books will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no books.'"
