For moose hunting, I recommend the Ford Econoline 350.

Concur; a solid vehicle, good ground clearance, and likely enough room for the moose. Perfect

And enough mass to kill the moose on the first hit.

My next door neighbor killed a 5 point buck with a Stryker crossbow this morning.

I'm not a hunter but just bought an arsenal at the gun shop this morning.

Yep, There's no rush like being chased by a bear that didn't go down by a six-shooter.

From the August 2002 Alta, Utah, town newsletter (as featured in the Salt Lake Tribune): "July 14: At 12 p.m., the deputy on duty responded to a report of a man chasing a moose in Albion Basin. It is suspected that this is related to a subsequent report of a moose chasing a man."

No excitement in ones life makes for a bore. I carry more then one and I figure if 6 shots from the revolver(which has always worked by the way)and the 15 from the auto don't work it deserves to live.
Nothing like bear stew on the ole wood stove on a cold evening. :D

I see at least 3-4 doe daily while hunting, yet have only seen one buck so far. This will be a good season and we will be in deer meat for a while. But I want the bear!
My youngest next year wants to use a cross bow.

One of my partners is a prepper, and I guess I've been listening to him too much, but I thought I should have something for self defense in case of the zombie apocalypse.

Good idea. Make sure you have lots of high powered drugs and maybe some placebos as well....just in case.

Wouldn't be much of a chase. They can hit 40 mph.

Lies and bullshit (and fearmongering) aren't weapons. They're tactics; ones that the GOP have enshrined as their modus operandi these last 12 years or so. You'd think they would get it by now......
