Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

That was pretty quick. They put a lot of work into it too. They seemed fairly busy every time I drove by.

At times it was but only for an hour or two here and there. I drive by there at least 6 times a day and many of the times one or two cars was it for hours.
It just couldn't work if they were lucky they would do maybe 200 tickets per week including the good ole boys who hung in there and bought an egg sandwich or hot dog and drank a few pots of coffee for 3 hours at a time and left a 25cent tip were a losing deal. Yes I know that was a problem before because I knew a few who waitressed there and they complained a few times they would sit there for hours and take up 3-4 tables then leave a quarter tip.
Then all the Sheriff's cars out there made it look like a Doughnut convention. I as well as few others would come off the mountain looking for a place to eat and would avoid the place for that reason. They always parked right in front blocking the parking lot in front of the entrance, then they looked over every truck that pulled in. No thanks.
It had about as good a chance of making it as the Gem mine on Fruitland Rd. :?

I saw his truck there before they opened and someone was painting the signage and windows out front.

Speaking of businesses in the area... Have you ever participated in that "Rocky Top Auction"? If so, any deals to be had?
