Ryan is next in line unless Pence has enough time to get a VP confirmed.

I'd go with Ryan. My thinking is that Dolt .45 is crazy and dangerous, Pence is evil and Ryan is just very bad.
That makes political sense and it's more likely given the GOP Congress. However, my opinion is that Dolt .45 is so dangerous that he should be gotten rid of ASAP. Then, we'll deal with Pence as best we can. He's evil but a bit more sane, and he and the GOP will be somewhat chastened and restrained by the fall of Dolt .45.
The Republican chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee said on Thursday the panel could take up a bill as soon as this summer to impose new sanctions on Russia over its alleged interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election....
Later in the meeting, the panel overwhelmingly passed legislation to condemn Russian activities including its effort to influence other countries' elections, aggression in Ukraine and support for Assad. That measure did not include sanctions....
New sanctions on Russia would still have to overcome a veto, but it's funny that Presidents* Trump & Putin's sheer incompetence has made things worse for both of them.
Secretly working with a rival before the inauguration to undermine foreign policy towards a country where US soldiers are operating is arguably treason.
The easiest solution would be for Dolt .45 to have a stroke or a heart attack. Unfortunately, one requires having a brain and the other requires having a heart. Maybe testicular cancer . . . oh wait.

It's not news to me that Jared Kushner's father was convicted and imprisoned for tax evasion, illegal campaign donations and witness tampering. However, I didn't know that his uncle was convicted and imprisoned, too, and I really didn't know that they were prosecuted by then U.S. Attorney, wait for it . . . Chris Christie. Strange world.
I think Jared has such prominence because he does what Dolt .45 has always wanted to do - bang Ivanka.
