Damn I do love a tropical storm. Just siitting on the wet porch in a wet wind and loving it.

Suppose to stop raining on friday with 8 to 10 inches expected

Could theoretically be another deployment for me, though probably not without the hurricane winds and storm surge. I like this site for watching storms remotely:

Steady rain for 2 and a half days now

Dog ain't going out until it's over. He shuts down when it rains - nothing in, nothing out, no problem.

I had a dog like that - hated getting out in the rain. Went tippy-toeing through puddles if she had to. I'd feel sorry for her for not getting out, and would open the door. She'd stand there, looking out, then head back inside. Eventually I'd have to go out with her if I wanted her to go.

4+ inches of snow so far, wasn't really predicted, still falling heavily, it's beautiful.

It may snow in Pensacola, but doubtful along the coast where I am. Here it's just freezing rain.

The good news is that the bridges are expected to freeze over and caution dictates that the 3.5 mile bay bridge between me and trump will encourage me not to make a scene.

Was thinking about headed up to WNC for a hike tomorrow. Is this a bad idea? Thought it'd be pretty rad to hike in the snow at Pisgah.
