Flipped to fox this am for what I thought would be giggles, instead I found the beginnings of trump getting the go-ahead for nuclear war with N. Korea.


Say what you want about the fat little NK idiot, but include that he knows he and his country will be destroyed in a nuclear war that the fat big guy in DC thinks will boost his poll numbers.

Mutually assured destruction has worked for 50+ years because even the most insane of leaders understand the outcome. What is to stop it now?

I'm not much of a political strategist, but I'm guessing we start a nuclear war in April to fire up the base for November. This might be too early for the fall vote, but the necessity for good poll numbers by April could outweigh the the long term election goals of the repug party.

Will there be less than 10 million dead
Will we join forces with Russia
Will trump gain another 50 pounds

The short one has little say in whether North Korea and America go to war. It's up to the tall fat one, who knows how 9/11 gave Bush II a big ratings boost and had his party declaring any criticism to be treason.

Earlier today, the situation on the Korean peninsula evolved into a full-blown crisis. News broke this afternoon that Kim Jong-un can now arm his long-range missiles with nuclear warheads. Following that alarming revelation, Donald Trump vowed to meet another threat by North Korea “with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

I can’t overstate the danger. As you read this, two nuclear-armed egomaniacs are facing off in a catastrophic contest. There’s no reason to expect cooler heads will prevail. Every effort must be made to avoid any scenario that risks the use of nuclear weapons.

Nuclear war has never been more likely in our lifetimes....

Remember: Trump’s promise of “fire and fury” is backed up by the absolute authority to make good on that threat. At any moment, he can pick up the phone and order a nuclear strike.

We can’t pin any hopes on having “an adult in the room.” The system built to execute Trump’s launch order was built for deference and speed, not deliberation. From the moment he gives the order, it will take all of 5 minutes for nuclear missiles to fly from the submarines that carry them. The whole region would be on fire in less than half an hour.

We don’t know for sure if the North Koreans could fire off a nuclear counterattack that hits an American city, but that hardly matters. Kim Jong-un can almost certainly slaughter hundreds of thousands of people in East Asia. And even if that retaliation never came, a U.S. nuclear strike alone would quickly blanket neighboring countries in deadly radioactive fallout. The death toll would be horrific and far-reaching....
