Re: President* Trump
I caught some of the Stormy Daniels interview on The View while making breakfast today. I haven't sought her out but I also saw her on Kimmel and snippets from other appearances. I am impressed by how articulate she is, the logical consistency of her story, her sincerity, intelligence and openness, and her apparent truthfulness. I don't think that I'm particularly prejudiced against sex workers, but I would say that my stereotypes have been altered.
That said, I'm still biased against anyone that would voluntarily sleep with any of the Trump men for free. That's more disgusting to me than all but the most extreme or violent porn.

I seriously doubt Stormy has done much of anything for free. She was a trump supporter even after the election. Could be that she was expecting more of a payday or heard about the other woman getting 1.6 million.Vrede too wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 1:14 pmI caught some of the Stormy Daniels interview on The View while making breakfast today. She may be too clean for Congress.

All I know is that she claims no money changed hands while they were having the affair and that Dolt .45 didn't offer any money like he supposedly did with the Playmate. She may have indeed hoped for something down the road, but probably not the huge hush money payout since he was already known to be a dog and it wasn't known that he'd run for POTUS let alone have a shot at winning.billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 5:09 pmI seriously doubt Stormy has done much of anything for free. Re: President* Trump
This could explain why no policy failures dissuade Trumpettes. As long as he makes them feel good about being white, Christian, hetero and male, they will keep adoring him. That's how snowflakes are.Trump Voters Driven by Fear of Losing Status, Not Economic Anxiety, Study Finds
Ever since Donald J. Trump began his improbable political rise, many pundits have credited his appeal among white, Christian and male voters to “economic anxiety.” Hobbled by unemployment and locked out of the recovery, those voters turned out in force to send Mr. Trump, and a message, to Washington.
Or so that narrative goes.
A study published on Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences questions that explanation, the latest to suggest that Trump voters weren’t driven by anger over the past, but rather fear of what may come. White, Christian and male voters, the study suggests, turned to Mr. Trump because they felt their status was at risk.
“It’s much more of a symbolic threat that people feel,’’ said Diana C. Mutz, the author of the study and a political science and communications professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where she directs the Institute for the Study of Citizens and Politics. “It’s not a threat to their own economic well-being; it’s a threat to their group’s dominance in our country over all.” ...

Tree planted at White House by Trump and Macron appears to have vanished
Comments:
Comments:
The tree refused to pledge loyalty to Trump. It has been used as kindling.
Scott Pruitt ordered it removed.
Trump sent it out for coffee.
My best guess, he had it removed, if he thought it slighted him in the slightest bit...
Friday was Arbor Day after all... I guess Trump thought you celebrate by cutting it down.
Then, there are a bunch of wingnut idiots that say that the pics are of different locales.rump thought there was oil there, so they removed it so they could drill.

... Amid fervent speculation, France on Sunday came through with an explanation: the tree, now not just a plant but a symbol of US-French relations, had been placed in quarantine.
"It is a quarantine which is mandatory for any living organism imported into the US," Gerard Araud, French ambassador to America, wrote on Twitter.
"It will be replanted afterwards." ...

everything overlaps with trump, while not part of the administration, the good doctor's firing occurred during the reign of the short fingered one and could have been posted at the fired/quit thread. It's a tossup, so I put this here.
Kinda makes me wonder why trump uses his own name and pseudonyms for prescriptions and lab work. I's my understanding that using fake names to get multiple prescriptions isn't legal.
As for raiding the doctor's office and stealing records - I know that isn't legal.

Bornstein whining now about something that happened 15 months ago;
His apparently not calling the cops at the time;
His being such an idiot during the campaign:
And:During Trump's presidential campaign, Bornstein wrote a letter declaring "unequivocally" that Trump would be the healthiest president in history. He called Trump's health "astonishingly excellent."
Yes, it is "a breach of medical trust", and it's illegal without specific authorization under the same HIPAA law that Bornstein is now whining was violated."I couldn't believe anybody was making a big deal out of a drug to grow his hair that seemed to be so important. And it certainly was not a breach of medical trust to tell somebody they take Propecia to grow their hair. What's the matter with that?"
Often, when discussing Trumpette squabbles with other Trumpettes, we find that they were all wrong.

I agree about the quack doc. All involved should be fined/jailed/whatever, but the doc should go first. He is also legally responsible for not calling authorities when records were taken from his office.

Agreed. The thugs are arguably guilty of theft, Bornstein may have committed a HIPAA violation by not reporting the theft.billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 5:24 pmI agree about the quack doc. Re: President* Trump
The correct way to have done that would be for somebody authorized to act on behalf of Trump to request copies or Dr. Quack's records. To oversimplify, the information belongs to the patient, but the records belong to the doctor. For somebody to actually go to Dr Quack's office and remove the hard-copies and whatever else is without doubt illegal, absent some court order or warrant. Of course, it was also a significant HIPAA violation for Dr. Quack to disclose protected health information about Trump, too.

Dr. Quack is now claiming the obvious - that Trump dictated his "medical report" back during the campaign.
