Try to hit the beach early enough to avoid the crazy lady who keeps giving me a ticket for bringing my puppy.


Hurricanes somehow change all the rules. Before ivan, no vehicles were allowed in the beach for any reason and locals played catch with their dogs, swam and surfed with their dogs and picked up after their dogs. Ever since ivan there has been a constant stream of cops playing and racing on their 4 wheelers, and now this crazy woman on a 4 wheeler out to get anyone with a dog. $50 the first time and $100 last time.

Lady O and I will be lightly supervising the crew of illegal immigrants who are cleaning the house and garden prior to closing. Then we're going to try to avoid the fire area around Hot Springs and go hiking with some through-hikers on the AT. Or if that doesn't work out, we'll just GTL.

Brother's car broke down on Thursday at Ingles, wife's car just broke down at a different Ingles a couple hours ago...... took PTO for the rest of today to handle that.

This week sucks. I'm just chillin this weekend!

Last week was a music festival for me. This weekend is some hiking. And in about a month it's a road trip back to the mother land.

Lady O and I will be lightly supervising the crew of illegal immigrants who are cleaning the house and garden prior to closing. Then we're going to try to avoid the fire area around Hot Springs and go hiking with some through-hikers on the AT. Or if that doesn't work out, we'll just GTL.

How were the hikes at hot springs? Thinking about heading up that way.
