I haven't seen what they're proposing. Does "pay their own" exclude use of campaign funds, too? How about Employment Practices Liability Insurance? That's one of those things that sounds good in theory, but unless somebody's putting some serious thought and analysis to how it would work, what's included, what's excluded, etc., it's going to be a mess.

With your frivolous complaint you have:

Declared that you are an idiot. It does not diminish women in the slightest to suggest that men shop for women’s lingerie;
Declared that women like you are utterly humorless;
Diminished those women that are the victims of real abuse;
Brought shame upon Merrimack College and its Women’s and Gender Studies Department;
Declared that women are incapable of fighting their own battles and must run shrieking for help over the most minor of supposed slights;
Declared that people should suffer professional consequences over the most minor of supposed slights.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no angry male threatened by feminists. As an ER RN, I have a career of caring for abused women while working in a majority-women, usually women-led profession. As a progressive activist, I have decades of working in solidarity with women and their (our) causes at every opportunity.

I am not threatened a bit by rational, assertive women as I'm sure that you usually are. However, I am depressed when a fight I've contributed so much to is made a mockery of from within.

Please withdraw your complaint, communicate whatever you wish to Professor Richard Ned Lebow privately, and let the whole silly matter drop whatever his response is.

Then, please return to your very important educating and I assume activism.

Crew on the biggest subs is, I think, well under 200. I'd think it's unlikely that these sailors are any hornier than the average sailor on other vessels.
