I'm looking forward to her looking forward.
Amirite?
Yes, I am.

Why don't you tell us? I could use a good laugh.
Did you know she is the only white minority in the US Congress?
Did you know you fail every time you try to discuss something?
Warren's memory is a bit short on who used the filibuster for what.
"Stupid quote about blocking 10 judicial nominees, as if that proved something."
Some of the elected dem idiots not only have short memories they also think our form of government and the process by which it works, or doesn't work as the case may be, is just beginning.
Some of the forum cons not only have long-term ignorance, they also think history is something to has gaping holes.
LINKBut the number of filibusters by Republicans has escalated, and they have been far more willing to use the tactic than their opponents. Since 2007, the Senate Historical Office has shown, Democrats have had to end Republican filibusters more than 360 times, a historic record.
Then there is the Senate Republican record use of anonymous holds to prevent legislation from coming up for debate. Just last month, a Republican senator put an anonymous hold on a bill intended to raise the COLA for disabled vets.
LINKA Republican senator is using an anonymous hold to block the traditionally bipartisan cost of living adjustment that is given to America’s disabled veterans and their survivors.
Sen. Patty Murray, Chairman of the Senate Veteran’s Affairs Committee said in a statement, “This is stunning. Particularly because we still don’t have any indication why someone would block a cost-of-living adjustment for veterans and their surviving spouses, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet. This adjustment for our disabled veterans is hard earned and well deserved. My hope is that whichever Senator has decided to hold up this bill will at least come forward to own up to it. That way we can move forward to overcome their opposition and get our veterans the support they need.”
The anonymous senator used an informal custom referred to as a hold, which allows any member of the Senate to stop legislation from coming to the floor for a vote by notifying and getting agreement from the party leadership for their intentions.
While it is one senator who requested the hold, Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republican leadership had to be notified of his intention to prevent a bill that would have provided a cost of living adjustment for disabled veterans, surviving spouses and children of members of our military who died while serving their country.
Look at that. The party of patriotic flag wavers once again tries to shoot down legislation aimed to help our disabled vets. Republicans -- the party of "Send 'em off to war to get shot, but don't spend any money on 'em when they come back scarred and traumatized." Such nice guys.
Well, you tried to make a point and failed . . . again.
Back to your cheerleading from the sidelines.
Reality wrote:Hey First Name Dingle, read the link. Your heroine Warren was white in Texas and a minority when she wanted to "identify" with minorites. Doesn't that make her a white minority.
Did I say one word about your stupid, irrelevant aside? No. It wasn't worth bringing up the first time. It certainly wasn't worth bringing up again.
Subsidies to big oil is plowed back in various ways to fund programs for the needy. A link to this info has already been addressed aand I thought you remembered everything you read on this forum.
Post it again. Pardon me if I don't take your word for it, but I've never seen you post proof of any of your delusions.
Filibusters are only bad when the process stops what the dems want.
Backtracking and attacking the straw men already. You're the one who tried to imply that Democrats use the filibuster to bring government to a halt.
Evidence shows that it's the Republicans who do so, far more than Democrats have ever done.
Reid has been there long enough to know how the process works but he's experiencing another one of his frequent memory losses.
Again, you're not smart enough to tell the difference between a few filibusters to disrupt a few judicial nominations and a record number of filibusters to ensure that no legislation gets passed.
"Opps." Looks like Butt Ugly's already hit full stride.Reality wrote:Hey Vred, read the original link and while you are at it take Dingle with you.
..and take Warren too.
Mike might want to go also.
Run out of smarts, Butt Ugly? "Opps." I forgot. You never had any. Check in with Alex Jones and Michael Savage since they speak your stupidity. Be sure to bet all your money on their election predictions.Reality wrote:Ran out of drivel Dingle. Check in with Matthews and Maddow since they speak your language. Be sure Vred approves though. Wouldn't want to rile the lefty nanny.
Thanks, Big Ugly, I like to think so as well.Reality wrote:Warren, Baddow [sic], what great company you choose Mike.
