#8 Tennessee vs. #4 Kentucky, 3:30 PM EDT
Big game. The winner, especially if it's Kentucky, may get a #1 MM seed. No preference.
Oregon vs. Washington, 10:30 PM EDT.
The winner may be the only Pac 12 MM team :( . No preference.

Who I want, not who I predict:

#19 Wisconsin > #6 Mich. St., 1:00 PM EDT.
For the gymnasts!
Florida > #22 Auburn, 1:00 PM EDT.
Sorry, billy.pilgrim.
N.C. Central > Norfolk State, 1:00 PM EDT.
Davidson > Saint Louis, 3:30 PM EDT.
Hominies represent! Time for another Curry-esque Cinderlla MM run.
#10 Michigan > Minnesota, 3:30 PM EDT.
Iowa State > #17 Kansas, 6:00 PM EDT.
San Diego State > Utah State, 6:00 PM EDT.
#18 Buffalo > Bowling Green, 7:30 PM EDT.
Call it the Bowling Green Massacre.
Montana > Eastern Wash., 8:00 PM EDT
#5 Duke > #12 Florida State, 8:30 PM EDT.
I think a win has to get Duke a #1 MM seed.
Western Ky. > Old Dominion, 8:30 PM EDT.
New Orleans > Abilene Christian, 9:30 PM EDT.

#8 Tennessee vs. #4 Kentucky, 3:30 PM EDT. That was exciting!
Big game. The winner, especially if it's Kentucky, may get a #1 MM seed. No preference. The odds of 3 #1 ACC seeds just increased, but Tennessee and the Big 10 winner from Michigan both have shots. There will certainly be some #2 seeds that can win it all.

Could be my partisan perspective, but I think we were ahead or tired for most of the game.

19 steals to their 4 helps explain them taking the fewest shots of any game this season.

I did not watch. I'll root for Auburn over TN, but it will be difficult.

Just saw this for Zion - 2 games, 26/32, 60 points. Wow. With that percentage, if anything he's not taking enough shots.

So it's really hard to beat a good team three times, and UNC hung in even with Zion to lose by only one, thus getting themselves a rest before the tournament starts and probably no real loss of seeding. Ah zigga zumba...

Maaaybe. Unless the ACC gets three #1s I think UNC may now be the 1st team dropped to #2, whether that's fair or not for a 1 point loss. We'll see. If Duke loses to FSU, horrors, it may be the one to drop to #2.

6-6 on the day. :|

Go:

#22 Auburn > #8 Tennessee, 1:00 PM ET, ESPN
Might make the difference in whether UNC or Gonzaga get a #1 MM seed, assuming that VA and Duke already have locks.

#11 Houston > #24 Cincinnati, 3:15 PM ET, ESPN

#10 Michigan > #6 Michigan St., 3:30 PM ET, CBS
Winner might get a #1 MM seed.

The likely #1 and #2 MM seeds would seem to be, in no particular order:
Tennessee, UNC, Gonzaga, VA, Duke, KY, Michigan, Michigan St.
Maaaybe Houston could sneak in there with a win, it would be 32-2!, but I doubt it. A Tennessee or Michigan loss would give it the best shot.

I could possibly see rooting for 5 of these teams to win it all, in no particular order:
UNC, Gonzaga, Duke, Michigan, Houston
I could submit 4 or 5 brackets, we'll see.

Here's hoping that Kentucky's ref, Shows, is going to pick on Tenn rather than the standard focus of his bias.

Dougie is already a factor 3 minutes in. I guess the Auburn hate is stronger than any feelings towards Tenn.

Our best has 2 bullshit fouls
Schofield has 4 uncalled fouls

Yeah, I love the score. Doug Shows is still a terrible ref. Good for us that the other 2 refs are calling a better game - except against the 2 Tenn untouchables -
Schofield and Williams.

Amazing comeback from what was looking like a lost season not that many weeks ago. Auburn has certainly moved up from #6 seed territory to a #5 seed, and maybe all the way up to #4 or even #3 after that drubbing. Go Houston, supplant TN for #2.

Whew, still no Zion with at #3 North Carolina coming up Saturday, that Nike shoe really screwed him.

#3 North Carolina 79
@ weak Boston College 66

With the ACC's #2 VA there has never been 3 teams from one conference in the top 4 until now. They could all get #1 seeds,
which I'm sure is also unprecedented.
Wrong.
And for the first year since 2009, three No. 1 seeds will be named from one conference — the ACC. Duke (29-5) will be the top overall seed, followed by Virginia (29-3) and North Carolina (27-6).

Gonzaga got the other slot after the TN loss. Guess which conference in 2009.
Spoiler:
Big East: Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Louisville (overall number one seed). North Carolina got the other slot.

And somebody got paid to write that.
