11 million MORE "came from the valleys, ... came from the rivers (rivers?), ... came from the cities, ... came from all over" to vote AGAINST him;
They mostly stayed in their own valleys, cities, etc. to vote;
2008 was "one of the greatest elections in the history of our country." Electing a reality TV star in 2016 was certainly unique, but I doubt that historians will call it "great".

You don't have to pray; I went to what is now Northeast State and ETSU, both in NE TN. This was all in the early 80's

I was born in NJ in an Army hospital but grew up in TN, went to public schools, never rode a bus to school in my life; was always close enough to ride my bike or drive in high school, never went to school with anyone other than whites until high school, my high school prom was canceled because of race riots, went into the Navy and served four years, then went to school again and worked for about 40 years after that. what you got? UT is about 100 miles from where I am from; in later years they established satellite facilities in areas like mine.
