heh, I just read that story a few minutes ago; when the story noted, of his past, "nothing he says is true" it was like a crystal ball explaining why he got the job.

I have no doubt Stephen Miller is trump's primary advisor and is instrumental in a lot of the bullshit trump comes out with; they are the same type of people. Miller and trump. I think it's only going to get worse unless one of them is caught molesting a child or something. ok Oh, forgot to mention Bannon is on a world tour of stupidity and fear mongering. Hell, we're probably still paying him with government money. He's a real nutjob, looks like a wino, and yet many flock to his trough. Sad
45SHOLE will withdraw the nomination . . . because $75,000 in unpaid taxes is a laughably small amount.
Seriously, federal tax liens are not difficult to search, especially for the head of the federal government. What kind of clowns do the WH vetting? Must be some Stephens there that we haven't heard of yet.

Stephen Vetting? Office of Muggle relations?

But, but, but that AOC commie woman owes over $1,800 dollars in New York taxes.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imports from China— and potentially Mexico — are making his “America First policies” look “more like a planned socialist state,” one Wall Street economist said on Thursday....
“Tariffs are already having a deleterious effect on trade flows even before they grow to much higher levels that could virtually destroy world trade between nations,” MUFG Union Bank Chief Financial Economist Bank Chris Rupkey wrote in a note.
And as “trade in and out of the US is slowly grinding to a halt… Tariff man could bring down the entire world economy all to bring back America to the days when it made all its own automobiles,” he added.
Blasting Trump’s “America First” mantra, Rupkey said the president’s policies “are looking more like a planned socialist state where governments tell corporations what they can and cannot do. Doesn't sound like capitalism.” ...
Ouch, Trumpettes. Not to mention the appearance of a healthy economy bought with massive deficit spending.
The floors I'm installing in my house have gone up in price! The lady explained that the price increase is due to tariffs taking effect. Says she's had to spend a lot of her time explaining to customers why some of the materials have increased in price. This is the first tangible effect I've experienced from the tariffs. Or maybe just the first I've noticed.

She's bullshitting you; I bet she already had that stock and bought it at the old price and is just trying to make more money on now that she can; just like the way the opponents of this said would happen.

Good chance, but even so, if she's managing to piss off some people about the tariffs I'll let her keep it.

same thing with the price of gasoline when it suddenly became scarce; all of a sudden, the gas in the underground tanks at the gas station appreciated in value by just sitting there and not exploding.
Well in the event of a scarcity, it really does become more valuable just sitting in the tank. But what pisses me off is when the news says there might be a storm somewhere in the Gulf and it might be somewhere around where some offshore drilling rigs might be, and you can drive down the street and watch them changing the prices up. Of course, gas prices are always "what they can get" anyway and rarely related directly to their cost.
