Obama the "homeboy"

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Obama the "homeboy"

Unread post by Howard Gap »

Visiting victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey today, Vice President Joe Biden told them not to worry, saying, "you’ve got a homeboy in the deal who gets it." Biden was referring to President Barack Obama.

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/bid ... 63632.html

Just imagine the outrage from the left if a republican had said that.

UPDATE: Some suggest Biden here is referring to himself as a "homeboy," not President Obama.
Oops, Howard Gap missed that part or chose to dishonestly pretend that he did. It makes more sense given that Delaware was hit, too, and is so close.

It reads to me like he could have even meant Christie.

howie does let his imagination run loose from time to time

kinda a self-righteous type of paranoia

My take is Biden was referring to himself and his knack for saying the wrong thing continues.

Apparently as voters we should pay more attention to where a candidate grew up if we want to be taken care of during a national emergency. I thought the "F" in FEMA stood for Federal and as such all who are part of the Federal Government receive equal treatment but that isn't the way "Joke" Biden sees it.

Someone with a knack for saying the wrong thing.

Apparently, as voters, we should keep ourselves informed, think rationally, and avoid pointless speculation based on conjecture and personal bias. You do none of those.

Any proof he doesn't see it that way? Just your knee-jerk conjecture based on nothing?

ESAD First name Dingle.

Evidently Joe the Joke doesn't see FEMA as providing emergency services equally to all if he says "this homeboy" will be minding the store. Has he made those same remarks, during his bench warming tenure as VP, in other disasters that have struck our Nation where the "homeboy" didn't grow up?

Just as I thought. No proof of anything you say.

How the hell does your poor, dysfunctional little brain cell arrive at the particular bit of asinine stupidity?

Where did he say FEMA doesn't provide services equally?

Where does he say he would be "minding the store"?

How do you keep coming up with so much stupid?

What other disasters did you have in mind?

What disaster has he been to that is on the scale of Sandy?

How do you keep coming up with so much stupid?

Well the way it looks here if Obama is doing it it's all perfect, even the photo ops.
I talked to my nephew the day of Uncle Joe's Photo-op he called me pissed as hell telling me you won't believe what just happened.
They had buses, trucks and such mostly volunteers to take folks to the barrier Islands to retrieve their belongings that weren't looted. They had to have building officials and all to coordinate this so no one got hurt and all.
A local official comes buy to tell the hundreds of folks who waited hours and weeks they can't go. All roads and access is blocked due to Uncle Joe and his Motorcade and he had to get pictures by the purty water. They were told to go home and wait for future notification. Nice work don't ya think?
OK spin away liberals, go for it!

kernel, I've been through 11 hurricanes, (4 big ones) and my wife happens to be from Bayshore, NY. she has been in contact with her home town friends through face book and by phone. while most have never experienced a hurricane and are frustrated by the reality of the cleanup, none seem to have had the problems of your whiner nephew - could it be that this is something that runs in your family, or is it just another of your made-up anecdotal stories intended to carry more weight with first hand experience?

While Vrede dishonestly chooses to suggest that HG misunderstood the article because Vrede said "It reads to me like he could have even meant Christie.". So this means that only Vrede's interpretation is the absolute correct one.
billy.pilgrim wrote:howie does let his imagination run loose from time to time...kinda a self-righteous type of paranoia
So there's no mention of Vrede's self-righteous type of paranoia? Or are you just flapping your gums while kissing Vrede's ass?
Vrede wrote:Think Howard Gap will ever return to amend his title and post? I'd guess not. As predicted. Looks like Howard Gap is another one of those wingnut drive-by posters without accountability or the respect to engage in discussion. Probably posts the same crap on dozens of sites, that's how some cons are.
Because you said so? Is HG not entitled to an opinion the same as you? A drive-by poster? I hardly think so. (if I'm allowed an opinion here) Log into the forums and see who's name appears as the last poster in practically every thread. Seems there's nothing wrong with your driving speed. That's how most liberals are.

Another Vrede ass-kisser. SSDD. If Vrede disagrees, the clones chime in with the same useless bullshit.

Only in the Land of the Luney could anyone find fault with somebody pointing out a personal relationship with people in an area hit by disaster as part of a showing of support. Christie did it. Springsteen did it. Billy Joel did it. Those guys, along with others put on their concert in part because they were "Jersey" or NY people. Brad Pitt did it in NO, and he's only a part-time resident. Exactly what is wrong with a government official saying "I'm one of you..." (Rhetorical question - there is nothing wrong with that)

howard is just upset that joe works for a black guy

note: howard must not be an American, as he made the point in the title of his other thread that obama is not his president
