Re: The Religion Thread
Years ago I stopped making toast and buying cheese puffs because of this very reason; decided to let others become famous instead when they see Jesus in those things. I think it was a wise choice as well as being charitable to others.

We have found that the anticipation of a possible find has increased the overall family perception of breakfast. All depictions are arranged in a historical diorama of His life; although, we are missing most of his teenage years.

I keep hoping for Jesus, some other Mexican, or the Virgin (yeah, right) Mary, but all I get are Steve Bannon and Sarah Sanders. People on ebay insist that I pay them to accept my toast and cheese puffs.

Congratulations on those anticipatory breakfasts; happy hunting. I also think that chronological arrangement you guys came up with affords a more concise understanding of the matter. I must admit that I have not personally read the gospel according to Biff but had it summarized for me once by a gypsy fortune teller. I am reluctant to mention it, but I recently had a fried oyster that looked exactly like Noah's ark. I ate it.billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:59 amneoplacebo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 7:15 amYears ago I stopped making toast and buying cheese puffs because of this very reason; decided to let others become famous instead when they see Jesus in those things. Re: The Religion Thread
That's absurd; no way in hell would I PAY someone to take my manifestations. When I still lived in Hendersonville I would periodically notice from the local newspaper that Jesus was arrested on drunk driving charges but he was pretty clever about it and generally used a different last name in each case. I actually attended one of those hearings and the arresting officer testified that Jesus "was driving like hell."

Yeah, torture depictions are a way cool site for vacationers. The sand person should do a series - maybe the body filled ditch at My Lai, or The Scream, or Guernica, or even even Gina Haskill water boarding for family atmosphere in the USA.

But god (or some such mythical beast) hisownself gave it to them 3,000 years ago and he said he was cool with them killing all the indigenous people - including old people and even the babies. It's true too, an old sheep hearder told someone who told someone else, who then told some other one and on and on until some authoritarian fire and brimstone rabid rabbi wrote all their hate and "chosen people" bullshit on a big long piece of paper.

I'm starting to think that you are older than 14, but man, do you ever have a chip on your shoulder.

Read a book, like you lie about doing. When you're finished, come back and tell billy.pilgrim what you have learned.

Re: The Religion Thread
I don't give a hoot in hell about basketball coaches and would never consider reading a book by one. That's quite Christian of you to call me a liar. Thanks for outing yourself. I did go to Wikipedia and see that Pearl got into some hubbub about trying to recruit Deon Thomas for his team in 88-89 instead of Thomas going to Illinois. Pearl secretly recorded a conversation between himself and Thomas and asked if Illinois had promised Thomas a car and cash to go to Illinois. Thomas said yes (he said that in order to end the conversation). Pearl brought the accusation against Illinois, Thomas passed a polygraph test, the Illinois coach named Collins got the player. Four years later Pearl still refused to shake Collins hand, as is traditional at NCAA games and when he was asked about why he wouldn't shake Collins hand, Pearl said "It's hard to forgive a snake" even though Collins had nothing to be forgiven for. That doesn't sound very Christian to me. Why the fuck would I want to read a book written by a hypocrite?
