Read a book, like you lie about doing. When you're finished, come back and tell billy.pilgrim what you have learned.
I don't give a hoot in hell about basketball coaches and would never consider reading a book by one. That's quite Christian of you to call me a liar. Thanks for outing yourself. I did go to Wikipedia and see that Pearl got into some hubbub about trying to recruit Deon Thomas for his team in 88-89 instead of Thomas going to Illinois. Pearl secretly recorded a conversation between himself and Thomas and asked if Illinois had promised Thomas a car and cash to go to Illinois. Thomas said yes (he said that in order to end the conversation). Pearl brought the accusation against Illinois, Thomas passed a polygraph test, the Illinois coach named Collins got the player. Four years later Pearl still refused to shake Collins hand, as is traditional at NCAA games and when he was asked about why he wouldn't shake Collins hand, Pearl said "It's hard to forgive a snake" even though Collins had nothing to be forgiven for. That doesn't sound very Christian to me. Why the fuck would I want to read a book written by a hypocrite?
    As a Law Enforcement Officer, I catch people in lies from time to time, similar to you saying that you read a book.

      Let us also give a shout out to the state of Israel and its seventy years of righteousness, brotherhood, and piety.

      But god (or some such mythical beast) hisownself gave it to them 3,000 years ago and he said he was cool with them killing all the indigenous people - including old people and even the babies. It's true too, an old sheep hearder told someone who told someone else, who then told some other one and on and on until some authoritarian fire and brimstone rabid rabbi wrote all their hate and "chosen people" bullshit on a big long piece of paper.
        Auburn's coach Bruce Pearl is Jewish, he and I are both fond of Israel. I'm not sure if billy.pilgrim is OK with it, Ilhan Omar definitely is not fond of Israel. Didn't you know that billy.pilgrim is a Auburn fan? Maybe you did, but didn't let on.

              If you're a law enforcement officer, I will bet that you do not belong to an accredited agency (an accredited agency is one in which all officers are college graduates). I just read that in the book "The Black and the Blue" the other day. No shit. No, I did not know that billy pilgrim is an Auburn fan and it makes no difference to me if he is. Why should I care about which religion Pearl selected from the menu? Why do you? Are you Jewish? If not, how would you feel if all of a sudden a group of foreign immigrants showed up at your house and said that they are the rightful owners of that house and that you have to leave but they allow you to live out back in the rear of the yard? Additionally, if you didn't like this and resisted, those same immigrants decide to destroy your parents and grandparents houses because of your resistance to them? The rationale the immigrants give you for taking over your property is that it was written down a couple thousand years ago and that makes it right. I bet you would roll right over and say "yes, sir" wouldn't you? Another question, pious cop: do you respond with nonsense to the judge when you have to appear in court as the arresting officer? Just curious. Don't lie to me now. Promise?

                      Sounds similar to what the forefathers did to the Native American Indians. Did you know that there's a wall around the small country, Israel.

                      neoplacebo, I am very disappointed that you don't really read books! We are so fortunate that we have "a Law [sic] Enforcement [sic] Officer [sic]" here to figure you out.

                      Yeah, torture depictions are a way cool site for vacationers. The sand person should do a series - maybe the body filled ditch at My Lai, or The Scream, or Guernica, or even even Gina Haskill water boarding for family atmosphere in the USA.
                      Nah, an Easter series should include:
                      The Inquisition
                      The Children's Crusade
                      The Rape of the Maya
                      Srebrenica
                      Matthew Shepard
                      The Hyde Park and Regent's Park bombings

                      Fwiw, I was going with a purely Christian theme for Easter weekend sand sculptures of "family atmosphere" torture depictions and other abominations. Oh wait, it's also Passover, thus making these sand sculptures perfectly appropriate:

                      The Zionist terrorist King David Hotel bombing, killing 91 and injuring 46;
                      The invasion and eviction of the Palestinians that you mention;
                      Israeli apartheid;
                      Impoverishing Gaza;
                      Rachel Corrie and other bulldozer atrocities like you mention;
                      Gunning down unarmed protestors;
                      45SHOLE kissing Nuttyyahoo's ass.
                      F' ELON
                      and the

                                          As a Law Enforcement Officer, I catch people in lies from time to time, similar to you saying that you read a book.[/quote]

                                          How about you attempt an arrest on me for lying to a law enforcement officer? I will probably lie to your face and say that you're not overweight enough to be part of the force. I will even come to your jurisdiction. How about it?

And I just wondered what your opinion of that is since you're a religious bigot. What in the world would you do if the entire Pearl team were Muslim? Find another coach to salivate over? Read your first book? Jump and shout and quote hate lines from the Bible? Go to Afghanistan and look for water? Give up and cry?

Just trying to give you a glimpse of what you look like when you do the same thing over and over and over. I don't think you're a cop; I think you're lying, which is sin according to your religion. I forgive you though. No, wait, I changed my mind. Why don't you tell us about your best felony arrest? Or tell us about a time you actually helped somebody instead of harassing them or citing them for some piss ant offense that you (if you're a cop) and your cop buddies commit daily?

                                                                            In the beginning man created god; and in the image of man created he him.
                                                                            And man gave unto god a multitude of names; that he might be lord over all the earth when it it was suitable to man.
                                                                            And on the seven millionth day man rested and did lean heavily on his god and saw that it was good.
                                                                            And man formed Aqualung of the dust of the ground, and a host of others likened to his kind.
                                                                            And these lesser men man did cast into the void. And some were burned; and some were put apart from their kind.
                                                                            And man became the god that he had created and with his miracles did rule over all the earth.
                                                                            But as these things did come to pass, the spirit that did cause man to create his god lived on within all men; even within Aqualung.
                                                                            And man saw it not. But for Christ's sake he'd better start looking.

It will give you a different perspective on a whole bunch of things. The Yaqui Indians used peyote as a religious sacrament; there's a pretty realistic scene concerning this in the movie Young Guns.
