Well, I hate to tell you this, but whoever told you that story was bullshitting you; submarine duty is voluntary and you have to undergo about six months of extra training to even be considered qualified to serve on one. I can assure you they don't cover the subject of headlights in any way. And unmade racks are only an issue in boot camp. All the ships I was on had three levels of them; one just a few inches off the deck, the next one about 40 inches above it, and the third the same distance above the second. The lower racks had to be tilted up when not in use to facilitate keeping the area clean under the lower rack.

The Mueller report reports that trump, when he found out a special prosecutor had been appointed he said "oh, that's the end of my presidency; I'm fucked." Sounds like guilt to me. Just finished reading the Mueller report; a lot of it tedious as hell, but it sure don't make trump look good; even though the first part about conspiring with Russians was pretty much nothing to get excited about other than the various dubmasses and hangers on trying to suck up with the campaign, the second part about obstruction was pretty incriminating if you ask me. Too bad several of his aides didn't do what he wanted. But then again, if they had, we'd have Q tip as president. In any case, it sure documents the culture of lying that seems to be prevalent with these folks. Several parts describe how they worked to keep their stories straight; I'm not a legal expert but reading that stuff sure sounds like a conspiracy to me.

Better buy gas; Iran is saying it will close the Strait of Hormuz if we try to prevent them from exporting oil.
