We'll see. As to impeachment, undoubtedly any other past President (no asterisks) would have been run out on a rail for pretty much any one of the hundreds of things Trump's done. But none of those people would have left Pence in office, either. If it's a choice of politics or ethics, most everybody elected will take politics

Barr, Rosenstein, Mueller, Senate Repugs, all of our intel agencies and even Pence ALL agree: You POSPOTUS fanboys were and still are useful idiots for Russia. However, you will never admit it. If you had the smarts and spines for that, you never would have become Trumpettes.

Sure as of today, Trump is still President*
But if you really think all the whining, allegations, accusations, evidence, investigations, reports and general kerfuffle doesn't matter, you're not really much of a student of politics or of people.

You have any idea how many of your posts are just generic taunting? Whether it's sports, politics, religion, whatever, you post only taunts. Why don't you occasionally pick something you'd like to talk about and maybe you would get better responses and less ridicule.

There was another similar recent post by someone other than me, but I can't remember what synonym for taunting/nyah, nyah, nyah was used. I don't think that 1 FAT CAN has the capacity for intelligent discussion. Any time s/he tries, the logic or factual fail is immediate and it devolves into s/he cowering from the flub. So, all we're ever gonna get is a lame, parroting impression of Rush Hannity.billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:22 amBe careful or he may play the Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi card, or the Vince Foster card, or the birth certificate card or any other of the hundreds they share. Awww, if you can't actually dispute a single thing, a desperate and incorrect straw man along with childishly posting, "Nyuh-uh," just further humiliates yourself. Bless your heart.
Honestly, you're going to have to be way, way more sophisticated if you hope to have any impact here at all. Try, ummm, things like facts, logic and credible sourcing. We're not one of your low rent rightwing echo chambers. Stupid cartoons, dishonest galleries and, "You watch CNN, nyah, nyah, nyah," won't cut it. Unless, of course, your masochistic (nttawwt) goal is to be an object of derision and pity - in that case, carry on.

Where do you fall?
Do you agree with a candidate who uses the top secret confidential briefing candidates get from a sitting president to conspire with a brutal foreign dictator in order to win an election?
Or, more likely, you don't know any more about these atrocities that cost so many tens of thousands of American lives than what you read (or skimmed) in this thread.

I'm sure there was a knowledgeable, well-phrased response somewhere. Maybe the dingo ate his answer. Hundreds of former prosecutors say evidence against Trump supports charges
If Donald Trump weren’t president of the United States, he would have been charged with obstruction of justice, over 400 former federal prosecutors and Justice Department officials said Monday in an extraordinary public letter.
The joint statement, which had 417 signers by early afternoon, rebuts Attorney General William Barr’s assertion that the evidence of potential obstruction uncovered by special counsel Robert Mueller was “not sufficient” to establish that Trump committed a crime.
“Each of us believes that the conduct of President Trump described in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report would, in the case of any other person not covered by the Office of Legal Counsel policy against indicting a sitting President, result in multiple felony charges for obstruction of justice,” the statement reads.
It was signed by, among others, Bill Weld, a former U.S. attorney and Massachusetts governor who is running against Trump for the 2020 Republican nomination; John Martin Sr., a former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York; and Paul Rosenzweig, senior counsel to independent counsel Kenneth Starr, who led the investigation that led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton....

‘Game over’
"Democrats want to keep searching for imaginary evidence that supports their claims, but it is simply not there," House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said in a statement. The House's No. 2 Republican, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), added that Democrats "ought to apologize to the American people."
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), a key Trump ally on Capitol Hill, added in an interview that the lack of charges from Mueller's team should put an abrupt end to Democratic investigations on Capitol Hill.
“Prosecutors have one job, and that’s to prosecute and indict,” Meadows said.. “And if Bob Mueller in two-and-a-half years of investigation — which includes both the FBI and special prosecutor’s time — doesn’t bring charges, I don’t know how much longer we need to be talking about collusion and obstruction.” https://www.politico.com/story/2019/04/ ... se-1281024

U.S. Treasury's Mnuchin refuses to release Trump's tax returns to Congress
Clearly illegal. What's being hidden:
45SHOLE has been lying about his wealth;
45SHOLE legally yet unpatriotically dodges every tax he can and pays a far lower rate than the average American;
How beholden 45SHOLE is to Putin, the Saudis and other unsavory actors.
Mnuchin has a difficult job competing with Alexander Acosta, Barr, David L. Bernhardt, Bolton, Jim Bridenstine, Carson, DeVos, Gina Haspel, Thomas Homan, Kathy Kraninger, Kevin McAleenan, Mick Mulvaney, Ajit Pai, Perry, Pompeo, Wilbur Ross and Andrew R. Wheeler for WORST agency head.

Bottom line:
If there was anyfucking thing in that report to "exonerate" dumb donald, validate any rethuglikkklan talking points or embarrass democrats, the goddam thing would be on 5000 billboards across the interstate highway system, published in its entirety in any and every paper willing to print it and handed out like business cards by donald frederickovich, who would be autographing them like they were bibles.

We knew that it was coming, the constitutional crisis is now here.
Trump invokes executive privilege on full Mueller report as Democrats vote to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt
For better or worse 45SHOLE is forcing the House to begin impeachment proceedings.

As I just said:
House Speaker Pelosi: Trump making impeachment case by ignoring subpoenas
So, is he being stupid, does he see a gain by impeachment and the nearly inevitable failure to convict by the Senate, or does he not care either way because of the Senate so he'll just do what he feels like?

My guess is that Bitch McConnell has told him not to worry about it. I would love to see McConnell's face, though, if all of a sudden all the GOP Senators got an ethical epiphany and voted to shitcan trump. McConnell would likely drop dead right there on the Senate floor. Two for the price of one as it were. Former TN Senator Bob Corker recognized trump for what he was, but Marsha Blackburn took his place so it's a net zero.Vrede too wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:42 pmAs I just said:
