War on Women

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

What, a Democrat?
More a politician than a Democrat; he knows this law will never be enforced; he just sold himself out for his own political benefit; happens every day but more so with Republicans.

It's true for all of the creepy Big Brother pols in all of these states. They get the adulation and $$$ from their always gullible misogynist minions while not affecting the real world in any way, other than all of the lost opportunities from tax dollars invested in a certain constitutional failure.

Do you also pick oranges from your apple tree?

If they had to buy homemade guns, you would be closer.

Nevermind that the women with means can just step across a state or country line for a legal abortion in your method

and the women who can't are left firing a homemade gun in a back alley.

You’re saying there should be a compromise, billy? Or do you want to continue to kill babies and just allow the criminal element the upper hand?

I don't kill babies, our military does plenty of that.

I also don't presume above my pay grade. If there is a god or a FSM, s/he will take care of the judging and punishing, but in the here and now, it just palin and simple ain't your call.

I bet there are some Iraqis who would disagree if they hadn't been murdered along with their babies.

No one in power is seriously discussing banning un, crybaby ammosexual.

“kill babies” is an overwrought, wussy English fail and a Commandment-level sinful false witness.

Yeah, I can't remember any other time the term has been used except during the later stage of the Vietnam war, but back then we really were killing babies. Lots of low ranking officers got medals for doing it and a few were actually punished for it They made the rest of it legal and forgot about it. Now it's a rallying cry for ignorant yahoos. Times sure change.

Prostitution has long been legal in numerous places, including the most well-known Amsterdam and the state of Nevada. Of course, the world has ended in those places, so nobody would want to follow their lead, I suppose. Didn't you ever wonder why it's ever been illegal in the first place?

Well, at least if you're charged with prostitution they don't try to hang a conspiracy charge on top of it; after all, it takes two people to commit a sex act for money. Also, people that use illegal drugs are actually following the law in a backward sort of way......the laws state that the "possession" of those drugs is what's illegal. Therefore, your honor, my client, in using those drugs, was only trying to obey the law by getting rid of them because he knew that just having them was against the law. My client is a paragon of civic virtue who strives to do right always. Yep.

:D Actually not at the moment; I did follow the law in reverse this morning while having coffee and happened to notice I was in possession of something that is not legal to have; so I got rid of that just so I would be in compliance. I have a feeling this same situation might occur again later on today, but I am prepared to follow the law in that case as well.
