President* Trump

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

On CNBC, Trump says he wiped out 150% of China's economy

In an interview with CNBC Monday, President Trump said that because of his get-tough trade war with China, the Asian nation’s economy has lost "$15 to $20 trillion in value since the day I was elected.” In fact, the entire Chinese economy is worth an estimated $13 trillion.
He's a Wharton pity grad.

Comments:
And all it took was crippling American farmers and other American businesses. Not really something most people would brag about, Dotard.
Out of the 327 million US population, Trump claims he has 500 million supporters!
Stable genius.
And the moon is part of Mars.
$15 to $20 trillion! Wow, there is no longer a China. Oh wait, trump said that.

His supporters are eating it up too I'm sure.... his supporters don't understand basic math, so it makes perfect sense.

His "no collusion, no obstruction" mantra is somewhat accurate in the sense that none of his brain cell synapses are connected or collude with any other brain cell synapse and there's no obstruction of crazy patently false ideas or statements that emanate from his mouth. I suspect he's really a giant one cell hybrid organism.

I wonder if the Prince of Whales is at the mercy of the Prince of Tides or if he is able to avoid the Prince of Tides by seeking refuge in the deep state of the water. This has always bothered me not knowing for sure.

President Trump mocked online after tweeting about 'meeting the Prince of Whales'

Good tweets and comments.
Trump erupts after polls say he would lose to every major Democrat in 2020: ‘They don’t even exist’

“The Fake News has never been more dishonest than it is today,” the president began in a series of Wednesday morning tweets. “There new weapon of choice is Fake Polling, sometimes referred to as Suppression Polls (they suppress the numbers).”

“The Fake (Corrupt) News Media said they had a leak into polling done by my campaign which, by the way and despite the phony and never ending Witch Hunt, are the best numbers WE have ever had,” he continued, addressing reports from Tuesday that said he had instructed his aides to deny internal polling data that showed former Vice President Joe Biden beating him in 2020.

“They reported Fake numbers that they made up & don’t even exist,” Mr Trump wrote. “WE WILL WIN AGAIN!” ...

There is, indeed. It's a whale-watching tour company in Victoria BC. Having a really good time with Trump's tweet.

He writes Trump’s tweets and has been with Trump's campaign since day one

Scavino is ripe or mocking, but it’s not easy capturing the essence of Dolt .45’s whiny, imbecilic illiteracy.

The list of people who “were there since the start of his administration” is telling. Only Scavino, bigot Stephen Miller and wingnut Kellyanne Conway. Stephanie Grisham doesn’t count, she works for Melania. Worst hirer and manager ever.

I always enjoyed the DC fireworks show - always well done, good music, and a great backdrop for the festivities. I shan't be watching those this year. I'm pretty sure NYC will put on a great show. Or who knows - I might pass entirely since we'll have just done Canada Day in Victoria, with no Trump in sight. https://www.tourismvictoria.com/see-do/ ... canada-day

One can only hope that history repeats itself:
Some people are holding their breath, recalling the last time a Fourth of July was tied to a sitting president.

Back in 1970, supporters of Richard Nixon staged an "Honor America Day" in Washington, D.C.

Vietnam War protesters flooded the event. Some staged a marijuana "smoke-in" on the National Mall, while others waded into the reflecting pool opposite the Lincoln Memorial.

Police used tear gas on some of the protesters, but the wind carried the gas into the crowd attending the ceremony.

After Trump's tweet in February, critic William Kristol responded: "The last president to try to hijack July 4th was Richard Nixon, who staged Honor America Day on July 4, 1970. It was widely ridiculed. Nixon later left office in disgrace."
I'd love to see the nasty women in pussy hats hijack this thing 😾

I'll bet the alternative shows in suburban DC all have record crowds.

I just have to laugh at the running trump tweets that are posted on our header; it's always some ignorant bullshit or just outright lies or praising someone who should more correctly be vilified........Anyway, I saw this morning that Iran has shot down a Navy drone in the Strait after missing one the other day. I suppose trump will now give Nuttyahoo a call and find out what to do. Maybe my predicted end of month war is still on track.

Well, trump tweets above, currently, that "Iran made a very big mistake." I guess that's it, then. This time next year the world will be like the Mad Max environment in which trump will be the Lord Humungus and Stephen Miller will be his mini me. Fucking hell......guess I'll go out and buy some gas for my Interceptor.

I suppose so, plus if you're awakened in the middle of the night to the droning sound of a battery powered one, you can probably bet that you're doing something wrong. :D
