Not exactly "music", but related - Are expensive earbuds really much better/different from inexpensive ones? And if so, what are some good ones? I seem to go through them pretty fast no matter what brand I get.

I picked some up for $49 at Verizon. The sound is good and they stay in during sleep and activity.

I feel like I can speak with authority on this matter. I listen to music most of the day at work to keep the misery of office life at bay.
By far the best Bluetooth earbuds I've ever owned are these:
Anker Wireless Headphones,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B9R67WR?re ... b_ap_share
The battery life is really good, and the sound is amazing. Probably the best sound quality of any earbud I've owned.
If you're looking for wired earbuds, the OEM (real, not knockoff) Samsung earbuds are incredibly good:
I think the ones in this link are knockoffs, but if you can find the real ones, they're worth it. The knockoffs are horrible.

Uhhh, yeah, man, the only buds I know about aren't for putting in your ears but they do make music sound better.
Here's some Neil Young to go with that.

Rod had a long career.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 1:59 pmAnd I'm on the edge of my seat for the next Yoko Ono release. But I've heard other folks say that they really don't like how some really famous singers sing. I like all of the following but have heard others disparage each of them; Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin. Just no accounting for personal taste I guess.

What Happened to Kenny Rogers? Kenny Rogers, America’s eighty-year-old country music star, is one of the best-selling artists of all time. While he’s famous for bigtime hits like ‘The Gambler, ‘Lady’, and ‘Islands in the Stream’, he is also unfortunately famous as a celebrity plastic surgery disaster.https://thefaceexperts.com/what-happene ... ny-rogers/

Re: The Music Thread
OK, so I don't know anything about A$AP Rocky, and it's not just a question of Trump, but why is it an entertainer/singer person can get into a minor altercation in a first-world country like Sweden and it becomes an item of interest at the highest government levels? He wasn't "held hostage" he wasn't accused of some hokey "spy" crime, and even if you can argue whether or not his actions were "self defense", it's pretty clear he did what he's accused of. And they're holding him for trial, considering him a "flight risk." Well, wouldn't you be a flight risk if you're in a country just for a performance and now they're wanting to try you for something?
How does this warrant international attention, and why does the US think it has any influential jurisdiction at all?

Re: The Music Thread
I will guess the interest is because of the First Lady; at least that's the story that's been put out. As for the US influence aspect, I read trump saying that he called "the very talented" Swedish Prime Minister about this affair. What I want to know is what the PM is "very talented" at; tap dancing? juggling? not breaking out in hilarious laughter at every other phrase uttered by our ignorant oaf of a president?O Really wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 1:12 pmOK, so I don't know anything about A$AP Rocky, and it's not just a question of Trump, but why is it an entertainer/singer person can get into a minor altercation in a first-world country like Sweden and it becomes an item of interest at the highest government levels?
