The Global Warming thread.

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Saw this guy at a gas station in Raleigh NC, said he was headed back home to Hendersonville NC

    1. No, you didn't "see this guy"
    2. No, you didn't take the pic
    3. No, he wasn't in Raleigh
    4. He's in Orange Park, Florida

Why didn't you just post it in "Florida Man" - wouldn't have been more entertaining.
You saw him at one of those Motor Home parks?

I disagree. Catching 1 FAT CAN in a stupid lie that didn't add to the humor of the pic an iota is even more entertaining than the pic. :D

Not discovered by me, but I'm happy to rub it in:

No billy, it's not quite as luxurious as O Really's Motor Home, but the guy knows how to keep cool while traveling.

I'm wondering how he starts that generator. It looks like the type that starts with a pull cord, like a lawn mower.
Along the line of creative, ummm, "engineering", I saw this rig with a pickup camper mounted on a cut-down pickup bed turned into a trailer. Then, it turns out apparently mounting a pickup camper on a trailer may not be so rare...

“Don’t forget, it used to be called global warming; that wasn’t working, then it’s called climate change, and now it’s called extreme weather.”

What a paranoid moron! There’s been NO substitution of terms.
Global warming’s effects will manifest unevenly, hence ‘climate change’.
The uneven climate change causes extreme weather events.
      Duh.

Don't take my word for it, there’s Dolt .45’s own UNIFIED government:

I saw that story earlier; you mentioned Perry in your list of disciples.....I'm surprised he's not been featured on our "fired / quit" thread. But after I thought about it, he's probably still wandering around the headquarters looking at all the pictures on the walls and has memorized where the executive cafeteria is.

Breathe easier: States are passing a buttload of clean-energy bills

      Colorado
      Maryland
      New Jersey
      Washington
      Nevada
      New Mexico
      California

      In the works:
      New York
      Pennsylvania
      Maine
      Illinois
      Minnesota
      Wisconsin

      Cities:
      Orlando, Florida
      Pueblo, Colorado
      Many more

"a slew of electricity-producing utilities, like":
      Xcel
      Idaho Power
      MidAmerican Energy Company
      Southern Company (Georgia and Alabama)

“… When the Clean Air Task Force added up all these commitments, it found they cover 40 percent of the electricity produced in the United States.”

You are so gullible and stupid!

Your “REAL Scientist”, John Coleman, has NO relevant academic climate science credentials. He’s such a wingnut that he was drummed out of the American Meteorological Society. He’s not even a real meteorologist or any kind of "Scientist”. His degree is in media studies.
      https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?t ... hn_Coleman
He’s just a TV weatherman.

      Also, tin foil hat cretin:
Climate scientists could make far more money in other careers - most notably, working for the oil industry.
What a real meteorologist at The Weather Channel that John Coleman co-founded says about what the real climate scientists are saying:

Yeah, it's been really hot in Colorado this summer.
Colorado got almost 2 feet of snow on the 1st day of summer: https://fox6now.com/2019/06/22/colorado ... of-summer/
Norman said, even for the area, snowfall at this point is rare. The last time the city saw snow this late was on June 17, 1928.

As usual it's hot & humid in the south but you can still travel to Colorado to snow ski.
