LeBron James–backed pizza chain is America’s favorite: survey
Gotta admit, they're pretty good. Artisan type pies and reasonably priced.

Re: The Food Thread
For several years, my personal rule has been to eat pizza only when I'm in NY or NJ, and only from local places. No chain pizza, despite that I know some chains do turn out a decent pie. So it's not surprising that I haven't eaten many of the ones on that list. But how do I live in a world that has as many locations as Blaze and I've never effin' heard of it. Don't recall seeing a store, don't recall seeing an ad on air or in print. Do I just visually/mentally gloss over things that don't interest me?

Never heard of it either.
Blaze Pizza: Locations
2 in Asheville
2 in Charlotte
Knoxville, TN
Surrey & Vancouver, BC
A bunch in and near Chicago
Only Spokane in all of WA
Bunches in SoCal and the Bay Area
None north of Nashua, NH in the Northeast
None in the SC Upstate
Only Tallahassee in the FL Panhandle
Fort Myers, FL (Coming Soon)
None in OR & CO (despite legal pot
), and WY, AK, HI, VT or ME.
I just learned something weird about Pizza Hut, might apply to other chains. If you order online and they don't yet know where you are, they will comply with all corporate specials. If they know where you are from a previous order, then you can only access the very restricted local specials. So, remove or don't give your address until after completing your order, potentially big savings.

That said, eating pizza in New York City is kinda special, especially at the original Ray's. It's special, like a Cheese steak at Jim's in Philly.

I guess I'd better modify that rule though now, as a WestCoaster it is likely to be a long time before I'm back in NY/NJ.

I took Santa at his word, he would never lie to Buddy the elf. Confirmed - they make a good pie.

The only cure is getting Trump out of office. I hope there's still a livable world left when he's gone.

I've yet to find a decent sub here in Upstate/Western NC area. Maybe I'll open up my own deli. To make it even more authentic, whenever a customer places an order I'll treat them like they just interrupted my father's funeral, call their mother a whore, then tell them Itll be ready in ten thanks.

Yeah they're alright. Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, and Publix subs are all decent enough in my book. As far as pizza goes, mellow mushroom is pretty legit in my opinion. It's a little pricey but the pizza is really good and has a unique taste.

That's the thing with extractive industries - they have the money to hang out for decades until that one moment when they can stick their foot in the door, and it's all over. There's a mine proposal adjacent too and underneath a sensitive Western wilderness area that people have been fighting for 40 years. Folks just get tired, corporations never do.
